That still doesn't excuse the fact that way too many of the none quartz gems' corruptions can still be summarized as "Big no neck mouth head monster!" I imagine her catching the corrupted Pearl like a moth flying endlessly in the sky, Garnet would be a humanoid with a square head with ice and fire side on her arms, she's always making uncomfortable noises. Then Rose poofs the two to throw them in the healing gem pool.
