I try to let the commercial play out cause I heard that gets you more points or money or whatever. But they gave me a 12 min Ted talk. Can't do it bro. Cant sit through TWELVE min of ad.
+jon3.0 yeah man, they have been mixing in some silly long ones. I saw one that was a full episode of the Comedy Central show "big time in Hollywood". Getting out of hand but not that we can do anything.
The silver attachment is a scanner used in Fire on the Mountain. Also, Rumble and Frenzy's piledrivers combine with the scanner to replicate the wires from his connection to the Decepticon computer in the '86 movie.
a few little secrets about this fig--the panels that open up on this leg are actually to store Rumble / Frenzy's mini weapons. Rumble / Frenzy's piledrivers can double as battery packs to store on the side of Soundwave in tape deck mode, or can be attached to his arms as weapons in robot mode. Install the top part of the piledrivers only onto Frenzy, and he has his side speakers. Laserbeak / Busssaw can also perch on Soundwave's arms... ack... list goes on and on and on...
Storing the "battery packs" on the side of Soundwave is silly imo. Batteries aren't external and none of the secrets you mention are really part of the Generation 1 Soundwave which is why I didn't mention them. I did know that Laserbeak/Buzzsaw perch on the forearms. There was a lot more of this video that was shot but I edited out for sake of time. I REALLY don't like making long videos. But thanks for mentioning the extras.
I don't like its legs panels. They cracked at the pinned hinges on mine. It doesn't affect transformation but I removed the lower halves so they don't crack further.
I hypothesise he is the unwilling pawn of vector sigma.. Think about it he's obsessed with data and Vector Sigma appears omnipitant meaning he knows everything
Awesome review! Everytime I watch reviews like this, it inspires me to give toy reviews a chance. Thank you! I should also get my hands on transformers figure soon, for an affordable price that is. #YOUGOTTHETOUCH

Ah... MP Soundwave, my first MP. Will always hold a special place in my heart, and he will be in every one of my own parodies because of it! But you missed two little things on Ravage that actually make a big deal! First, his nose. The head looks fully complete with the nose out. Also, his haunches on his front legs. Having them in this position really makes him look like he's going to jump out and tear you to bits. Those are nice touches. Also, don't forget to pop up the waist on Frenzy/Rumble. Again, a small thing that makes a big difference! Love these guys!
Still not a great Ravage. The non-transforming Ravage with the SDCC exclusive Jetfire/Hound is MUCH better. Missed the waist but it doesn't make that much of a difference imo. My "reviews" are more for entertainment than information but thanks.
I take it that he is lame and everything is lame. lol :P You may find him lame Prime but I think he is truly truly truly outrageous. As always your review was amusing :)
Because "you have a robot pigeon on your shoulder" is stinking hilarious. Jon is a funny dude and he manages to tell folks what they want to know about the models while still being himself.
Professional what? I'm a professional voice actor. I started doing RUclips as a hobby but ended up with so many followers and views that it's become a way to raise money for charity to raise awareness and fund research for Autism. Thankfully, your opinion isn't going to make me quit my career and much bigger veteran voice actors as well as clients disagree with you. But like I said, to each his own. If you think it sounds like the Grinch, more power to you. Best of luck with your career.
jON3.0 I didn't mean it that way... You have a great and very recognizable voice, so it's fairly easy to pick up and hard (if not impossible) to transform in to another. That's all :-)
Thanks, but 80% of my business is "transforming my voice into another." I voicematch for actors everyday for movie trailers and other things. It's called ADR.
Thanks for the video but I think it would be much better if you just used your normal voice... It just comes off as gimmicky and makes your lack of any legitimate interest in the subject matter obvious. Also I'm not sure why you are wearing gloves but if you feel the need to do so then a pair that are one solid color that fit snugly would be far less distracting.
I disagree. There are thousands of people doing "reviews" that are actually trying to genuinely review something. The people who watch my videos aren't really looking for accurate REAL reviews. You're right. It is "gimmicky" because that is my gimmick. You're mistaking MY lack of interest for the CHARACTER'S lack of interest that I'm doing when I do these spoofs. My videos are characters supposedly "reviewing" other characters. I'm the first one to do it (as far as I know) and I'm the only one doing it (as far as I know) although I have had a few people requesting to copy my idea and do it too. If you can't figure out the reason for the gloves, then I can't help you and you don't understand what it is I'm doing. You don't get the humor and my fake reviews are not for you. Thanks for what I'm going to assume is constructive criticism but these types of videos are what my audience has come to expect. Let's sum up: A) My "reviews" are parodies of real reviews. B) The concept is characters reviewing characters and C) they are designed for entertainment, not for information. Anyone can do "reviews" in their own voice. It's been done times 1,000. It gets boring, redundant and monotonous. Only those with great personalities, rare items or those that get products first get any real following. I'm not trying to become internet famous by doing these kinds of videos. I never wanted to be a "reviewer." I only continue because fans of my channel request these A LOT. Eventually, I'll run out of things to "review" and then stop doing them all together. At that point, it will only be movie reviews, animated shorts and animated parodies. A channel for my own cartoons and spoofs was the original intent for creating this account and that's what I'm aiming for. I've worked with HUGE RUclipsrs like McGoiter, BadWeatherFilms, Screen Junkies, TeamFourStar, CinemaSins, Sean Klitzner, My Life as a Video Game, Break's Prank Bank and so many others. Those will be why I'm known on-line. Not for these silly videos that I only make to satisfy my little fandom and because making them makes me laugh. Maybe now that you understand hopefully, you might watch them differently and just enjoy them for what they are, or just don't watch them if you don't get it.
Well thanks for taking the time to explain it for me, I clearly missed the point... Your reply obviously changes my perspective on the video for the better. I assumed the gloves are to protect the items when handling it but wasn't sure if that was your reason for wearing them. Anyway, my minds kind of blown here, best reply on RUclips ever so thank you for that!
Makes a lot more sense now, huh? I did actually laugh out loud when you said I was wearing gloves to protect the items. That's hilarious! I'll bet there are nerds out there that are like that too. :D
Hearing Optimus Prime say "that's what she said" made my day!
Haha. This is the best review ever. I love how Optimus says 'lame' every other minute.Haha too funny XD
Ya lol
Hey Jon, they actually made a Soundwave mp3 player a long time ago so, yeah thats what I hope you're reviewing next!
Wait, they included buzzsaw? That bird casset that was only in ONE episode but not Ratbat who was in many episodes? Lame.
agreed

Well I have the figure myself, as well as the complete G1 cartoon box set...

Man...Your Optimus voice puts mine to shame...I can only talk like he did in Transformers Prime when I'm doing it...
"That's what she said."
Reasons the Hasbro version is better
1. The eyes are yellow
2. It comes with 5 cassettes instead of 1
3. Its way cheaper than the Takara version
I prefer red visor, if he were to have eyes however I prefer the eyes to be yellow.
Huy Bii yeah I know meant visor.
+Huy Bii I think he has eyes under neath the visor
optimus say me optimus me truck
Great review! Soundwave must be competing with Barbie, so many accessories. Maybe he should transform into a purse to hold them all!
I thought Rumble was the blue one, and Frenzy was the red one. But everything past the 80's show says otherwise. What?
I don't like its legs panels. They cracked at the pinned hinges on mine. It doesn't affect transformation but I removed the lower halves so they don't crack further.
maybe the next mp soundwave will work with sound or some fans project makes it for this one

I love this sooo freaking much!!! great review
What was with the chrome on rumble? And ravages body compresses into a z shape

Anyone know here to get the ToysRus exclusive without having to pay like $300 on Amazon?
RobotKingdom.com has
them in stock for $200 plus shipping
bigbadtoystore.com has them 149.99
Ravage has another joint to give him a hunchback. You mistransformed him...

MP3 Superior Soundwave outmoded
why is this so funny?

Panchi1016 I dunno. I think they're stupid.
Wait ravage is not a dog?
Why is dissing his toy he bought? Be appreciative of your fellow humans creations.
Who's she?
Well, no wonder the Soundwave figure is lame, Optimus...it's not a figure of you! :D
I take it megatron didn't want to review sound wave.

I broke the like count...

Cool
Bloody hell, this was awesome. Deliciously irreverent yet insightfully informative.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
This sounds exactly like the Grinch from start to finish, so this is a Grinch review?
Not a very good ear but to each his own.

Soundwave superior, autobots inferior.
Ravage sucks whether he'd be a cartoon movie or toy
Sound's like prime is a little bitter.....lol
Takara tomy is the winner
