The Focusrite Clarett 8 pre ain’t bad either. Expandable with Litepipe. Not a fan of Avid stuff due to their crappy customer service. Ever try calling them? Unfortunately, Pro Tools is a necessary evil in the profession recording world.
I have one of these. AVID sent me an email saying I was entitled to a perpetual licence to Pro tools Studio. When I called to ask how I redeem it they said I got the email in error; it should not have been sent to me. They would not budge and would not honor the email. Not cool.
I think RME Babyface Pro FS is the best audiointerface under 1000$
