One thing to watch out for if you like blended coffee, tea, or other hot drinks (like 'bulletproof' style coffee), most mini-blender carafes are NOT designed for hot liquids and may crack or develop leaks quickly. Be sure to check before buying!
A better bet is to use a taller glass or heat proof receptacle and an _immersion_ blender! Or even one of those battery operated frothers.
Immersion blenders do the trick. Why spend all that money on a socalled personal blender...@@goudagirl6095
Lisa I missed you 😭 please don’t leave for such long periods of time
You actually think Lisa is leaving then coming back? smh!
It Burns wouldn’t it be nice if we read with understanding?
Why?
I was hoping to see more details, especially the next best options for those who aren't ready to spend $90 on a blender.
At the link it’s $59!
To be fair though, I always tell people this, remove a 0 from the price, the blender will last 6-9 years. Any cheaper and they break and you're technically forking over 80 dollars anyway, spending it on 15 dollar, even 10 dollar a piece blenders. Sometimes affordable is paying a high cost now, so you don't have to pay for it later.
@@WulfLovelace Yess✔ ❤💕💕👍🏻
I got an expensive Vitamix (almost regretted bc of price tag) but it blends great after almost a decade. Definitely worth the money.
That's true I bought a cheap one which didn't even last a month . Yes I could have returned it but for that much money I am too busy to drop off at the post office so I just thought never go for those very cheap ones. Specifically those with USB charger never buy .
We have been using an Oster blender since 1995 (24 years now) and it still works pretty good. Never had to replace any parts and it can still blend regular ice cubes and frozen fruit without difficulty. The blade is made of good quality steel and the container is glass. When washing, we're able to remove all parts, so that everything gets cleaned. The blenders that are produced today are made of cheaper materials, hard to clean and that's why they can't compare.
So far everything I own that was recommended by America's Test Kitchen has been good; the Broil King griddle, KitchenAid slow cooker, Chef's Choice knife sharpener and the Presto waffle maker. I have a Ninja blender on order. My VitaMix with the blades way down at the bottom is a pain to clean.
I like my Ninja. I have the larger blender too but the single serving cups are my go-to for smoothies! 🍓🍉
My husband just bought one and so far we have been very pleased.
I have the ninja one, I haven't used my full size blender in two years now. Its awesome! It's also super easy to clean I just run it for a few seconds with soapy water, thats a big plus for someone without a dishwasher!
As others have said, great video but it would have been very helpful to hear opinions on the 2nd and maybe 3rd favorite. I have limited counter/storage space so I was hoping you'd give an option that wasn't as big as the Ninja.
In that case you might like the immersion or immersive blender.
I’ve been wondering which of these were the best. Thank you for doing the homework! Love the show too !
OMG these people all seem to believe that Lisa was on vacation or something. SHES NOT BACK. SHE NEVER LEFT.
THE RETURN OF LISA!!! Please keep making these types of videos.
Yaaaayyyyy you're back! I missed you! You're the best at this, dont leave again ❤❤❤❤
Love your videos! I've made so many kitchen upgrades based on your recommendations.
Glad to know I got the same personal blender at home!!!
I have been using my NutriBullet for four years now best one I ever found it has all the bells and whistles that I need and it makes an awesome smoothie
I have a old school magic bullet that's at least 10 years old. It still goes but starting to wear out now. Things been amazing. Definitely upgrading to the nutribullet version
Yay! I already have that one. Don't need to go out and buy another one. Thank you!
I bought my daughter the larger, multi-use Ninja. What an amazing powerhouse!!! Best money spent (so far) on kitchen appliance.
There is a design flaw in this blender that you should be aware of.
In the blade section of the maker there is ring sealer to stop leaks.
The problem is the ring itself is not guarded from water or other food particles from getting in. This results in the ring becoming a magnet for mold. It also will start smelling rotten. I just return mine due to this. My research has found similar problems. Please report this
Lisa is back!
Lisa was there all along.
Can u please do an updated version of this ?!? Thx.
So glad Lisa's back - here content is so much better than that infomercial BS they seem to be having these days
Wooo Lisa is back. YAh
Be aware that finding replacement blades for Nutra Ninja is very hard. That model she shows- the company does not sell the blades. The aftermarket blades either do not activate the blender, or the blade edges are dull out of the box.
Don’t let anyone but Lisa upload recipes and reviews also make them full length 😄👍🏼
I really hate that they never give any information about what they actually did or didn't test. I don't assume they are, but it makes the videos feel like paid advertising by the one or two brands they ever even mention. How much harder would it be to add the manufacturer and price for each unit tested? Even just listing them in the description would be useful.
They do if you buy their magazine or subscribe to their site.
Nice quick summary of what to look for when searching for a blender. This is exactly what I needed to know. Thanks!
Short and to the point, love it.
YESSSSS LISA IS BACK!!!!
Yes.... she’s back!!!
Nice video can you make an updated version, the recommended blender isn’t available?
Oh thank God, she's back
Hello I’m glad I found your site.
Yay Lisa!
Which blender crushes ice the best, and will hold up well? Ice usually kills my (I admit, I cheap out sometimes...) blenders. THIS TIME, I want the BEST! (Yes, I understand it has to do the other blending as well.) I need one that's "family sized", and I promise to get a GOOD one this time! After all of the blenders I've purchased, I could have had one that was gold plated! Thank you to whoever knows what brand I should trust for pure BRAWN!
It's been 5-Years since this Review. Was there any New update for a new Winner? Amazon says your Ninja Blender was Not Available!
Thanks for this review. Surprised the Nutribullet didn’t make the cut, but will certainly keep the Ninja in mind!
Runner up
Just happened to be in the market for one of these and 3 yrs seems to be like a long time. Here's to hoping for an update.
I have a Ninja bullet and it gets the job done. I tried other brands but those extra blades make a lot of difference. You can get it cheaper at Walmart.
YAY LISA! It’s so nice to see you back in videos again. I didn’t dislike the other videos or anything, but you are my favorite by far!
Hello, have a question. If you had to pick between a food processor and a blender -for whatever reason you could not have both - which one will you get? Which one is more versatile in your experience? Thank you.
I have the one on the far left. The lid sucks and frozen fruit consistently gets clogged up whenever I try to make a smoothie, requiring constant removals of that crappy lid to poke things down. I think the problem is that it gets too wide too quickly, making it hard for food to drop down when the stuff below liquefies. That problem is compounded by the fact that frozen fruit tends to stick together when you pour liquid, like milk, over it. That all said, for the price, it's about as good as I can expect. I'll invest in a nicer blender later on, but for now I only make one smoothie a week and can live with the frustration.
Lisa back😍😍😍😍
I’m getting one today, it’s on sale at my local superstore
Ninja products are very high quality. We own the coffee bar and a Foodi. Both have changed the game for household appliances. If I didn't own a nutra bullet I'd def invest in this product.
All you have to do is screw a regular mouth Mason jar on to an older Oster Blender...
You can use a small one for spices and a bigger one for smoothies!
Now you don't need two appliances
Look it up on youtube
On this recommendation I got the Nutri Ninja Pro and I love it thank you very much keep it up
I nice product for those with the need,
Love ATK and they do the reviews, without customers wasting there money...
I bought an off brand personal blender at Big Lots, worked great for about a month. After that time, the blades became so dull, it was more or less just "beating up" the ingredients, rather than actually blending them. Off to Goodwill it went.... 😞
Thanks.
Yay! Lisa!

"We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock". Message from Amazon and Walmart.
I'm curious to know what personal blenders you DON'T recommend. $90 is a bit steep but if lower priced ones that you tested should not be considered I'd love to know. And what came in second to the winner.
One shortcoming of the Ninja blender (I own one) is that it is very noisy. I wish more reviewers would rate / compare noise levels for each tested blender. Nice video just needs a few more details.
I wish they’d include model number so many models now a days got similar names
Vitamix.
This is a review for personal sized blenders.
i am thinking or wondering more precisely if i need to add water or any liquid to use the blender - in the case of making a salad dressing or if it will still spin without liquid and run smoothly; I also have the ninja blender.
one tip i can mention is that I had a small blender - smaller bottom area/motor than the one you recommended but not the ninja I think and the motor burned out but this was due to running it for too long at a time I think.
Wish they had small blenders with small jars instead hate twist top
Like the Hamilton ones on the left but higher quality and slightly bigger
I don’t know if you’ll see this or not but I sure would love to see an Electric skillet review
I don't like this review. Some reviews, they tear the whole thing apart and check everything. Those reviews I trust more. I always want to know what's under the hood.
They generally only rip things apart when those things get hot, so they can see exactly how hot they get.(and a few other things).
Mixers, blenders, food processors, etc have no reason to be taken apart, as nothing could be learned from doing so.
I wish I could see a review on the beast blender.
You guys are Great!!! If you say no, it's no with me too. Thank you....
Would like to see the runner up and why it fell short. It would be nice to see a chart with each model number and a score given for each area the blender was tested. Also your web site should not require a paid membership. I would rather ads be shown.
What about blending ice?
bravo!!
What was the number 2 winner? Would have been nice to know.
Love these equipment reviews Thanks. Your link does not go to the product you selected. Thanks
Wife bought me a Nutribullet 900. Was loud from the first day but after a couple of months was "hearing damage" loud! Not kidding. Junk.
Would have liked to know how loud these blenders are and what thoughts you have after long term testing.
Anyone know if you can run this Ninja Pro BL456 model for longer than 5-10 second bursts at a time? I loved my old Nutri-Bullet but it sadly died, because of that feature, and would love to reinvest in a Ninja. Thanks!!
Maybe I’m just over nerdy researchy but I keep checking back hoping you guys will do a update to the full sized midlevel blenders. Pretty please do an update on midprice blenders for 2019. Maybe I’ll just keep saving for the vitamix as I stare sadly into my 5 year old magic bullet as it whirs angrily, smells of burnt plastic and spits out sad little pseudo smoothies. 😞 (don’t judge, it was a gift)
Very nice. How do I get the juice from the cup?
Yassss lisa
whabbout Nutribullet and Magic bullet?
This is a couple of years old.
So you mean Lisa is not back then but did this video years ago? Please tell her fanatically cultish followers.
Useful!
Hey yall🤠 Question: Can you please test All-Clad Copper Core pan is it better than your fav D3? Love your videos have a great! Remember Chefs/Cooks always have more Thyme than everyone else😜
Have you checked their website? I'm pretty sure they've tested all of them in the past. I know they've recommended some all clad pans but not sure which ones.
Time to update this video.
Can you test the vorwerk thermomix? Is it better than individual items?
'Personal blender' sounds kind of intimate. Like a personal massager.
Liiiiiiiisa!!!!!
Please do a review on juicers!
On sale for $59,99 now
If im gunna watch smoothie reviews im glad the lady looks like this. Im not saying she looks bad. Just the opposite. Her demeanor gives off strong "I know wtf a good blender is" vibes
why dont you have a video about the juicers?
What about celery does it make good smoothie?
Still wondering how you get the smoothie into the cup
What about beast blender?
All of those styles are sealed vessels and some have been known to explode with serious injury. I need a smaller regular blender with a press fit top.
what was second place that is out of my budget
As of time of writing this its 60$ on amazon. 🙂
ohi bacon thanks for the info!!! You rock...
Love my Vitamix blending cups.
The best grinder for coffee/seeds?
WHY THEY DID NOT SHOW THE BEST ONE FOR UNDER 20 BUCKS?
$89 or $12 at walmart. I prefer the one for $19 at walgreens, just never let it overheat or it will die. The walmart one is really thin and smaller, both work.
i hear a vanilla ice song in the background!
NutriBullet Pro 900w ?
Sure I'll pay a fortune for a blender Kitchen Aid or Cuisinart the best in the market. It's worth it for all the other tasks. Why not? Better to get a Rolls Royce than a Honda.
I am very confused at what I see @ 1:24
WHAT ABOUT KAMBROOK BLITZ2GO ?
I wish you guys announced a runner up too. $90 is spendy if it's only a couple times a week and not daily
She said the Nutribullet Pro was the runner up
The Nutribullet Pro is better than the Ninja product mentioned.
