the youtube game cover scene hadn't exploded yet. That'd be 2015 with undertale when it blew up. And even then, awkward nerds dont usually bust out great vocal covers, so a good MGR cover will remain rare.

The same people who are into DMC should definitely play it. There are a lot of videos for that song, including a fair amount of covers considering how old it is.
