Just as sort of a heads up with the Safari ride, please do keep the little ones seated! The drivers are great at spotting moving guests, and they do warn that they won't take the stops to see the animals if the riders aren't cooperating and are given too many warnings
This is still useful!!! We have a trip in January with our 22 month old! We took him at 8 months and he loved Disneyland and the characters. Hopefully, Disneyworld is the same
Just wanted to say thank you to you and the commenters for warning about sensory issues! Most people don't think about that sort of thing because it's not an issue for their families but it's a huge help to us who do need to take it into consideration! So thank you for going the extra mile there!
I was first taken to Disney world when I was 10 months old and I remember my mum saying that I absolutely loved it’s a small world because of the songs and all the bright colours. Also when I went when I was three I loved the people mover because I was waving at people and it absolutely made my day when they waved back!
My baby sister LOVES Pirates of the Caribean! She doesn't mind dark rides in general, but she hears the singing and the animatronics moving and goes nuts! If you have a toddler who isn't so scared it's a great ride for them
My family’s strategy when me and my sibs were real little (4 the most part it still is) is to try to go in the early morning, go back to the room at 11ish and take a nap or go to the pool. Then we’d go back at around 4. It worked pretty well, especially at bay lake towers. We could just walk back to the room in like 5 minutes!
We went in November with toddlers and a expectant mom. We used the list for expectant moms which included Pirates of the Caribbean. Our toddler loved that dark ride.
I wanted to add a couple from when I took my son when he was 2.5 years old! He loved the Carousel of Progress and Haunted Mansion! HM stopped while we were in a hallway where the wallpaper pattern transitions into eyes and that started scaring him a bit, but he still loved it!
My older brother is a special needs guy, he might be 30 in body but his mental state is definitely that of a toddler. He loves the Pooh Bear ride, and the Kilimanjaro Safari. When we are there we always ride those at least five times each. He, with his issues, finds It's a Small World to be a little too much happening. He loves the Peter Pan ride too. A pro tip; I have found that the Rider Switch also works if you are the caregiver of a special needs adult, 100% of the time when I have explained to cast members that we are switching because we are caring for a special needs person, not a child, they have been completely fine with it. So don't think Rider Switch is only for people with kids. :) At least in my experience.
My 3 year old daughter ADORES the Dumbo play area and I have to practically DRAG her out of there to go *on* the Dumbo ride. She can easily spent over an hour there and I love it because I can sit down in the air conditioning!
Hi. I love you guys!! I wanted to know if you guys can do a video on kosher food in the parks. A lot of my friends who watch you guys agree with me and it would be a huge help to us!!! Thank you!!!! I can’t get enough of your videos!! I watch them ALL THE TIME!!!!!
Just went with my 1, 4, and 6 year old, you got all their favorite rides except pirates. I can understand though that it may be scary for some kids but mine loved it so it's worth checking out if you think they can handle the theming.
When I was five I went on Peter Pan and was partially in awe, but mostly mortified!!! Lol. I seriously thought we were hundreds of feet in the air. I just went back on it for the first time last week & was shocked at how low we were to the ground!
Warning: there is a section on figment where it's pitch black and then theres a big loud shot of smoke that left a toddler in front of me in a crying panic
Yeah, AJ forgot to mention that! Its ok! I remeber I was at DW with my mom's friend, she had a child who haded 7yearsold and I had 9yearsold, Me being the nice girl, I letted him sit next to me, And at that part that you mentioned, he started crying, in panic. I closed my eyes, im a scardy cat
Not really a ride but more of a show experience, but my lil sibs loved philarmagic when we went when they were young, if people need a sit down classic
The train scared the living daylights out of my then 3 year old daughter last year. One toot of the whistle back by the Barnstormer and she cried for over an hour and was worried the rest of the trip. She's excited to know that the train won't be running this September when we head back down lol
Thank you for making this video! I have a toddler and I’ve always wondered if the trip is really even worth it until she’s a little older. But it’s good to know the things we could do if we do decide to go!
if your kid is like 5 or older, go on thunder mountain, super fun and fast! i went on it when i was 7 but I still think if your kid is brave enough and doesnt mind fast rides they'd love it
My 2 year old really got freaked out on the people mover. Going through space mountain, pitch black of course, but there was a moment that I don’t remember from previous rides, it was pitch black dark for about 30 seconds after we just went through space mountain. No sounds, no lights. Couldn’t see the hand in front of you. We were in pitch black darkness for about 2 minutes. It absolutely gave her anxiety about all dark rides after this. She even rode pirates before the people mover and LOVED it. She was freaked out on Nemo, little Mermaid, frozen 😩 it was awful.
Nicole Waters umm.if you love those rides still go on them that’s dumb and sad she was scared of people mover all my favorite rides I went on those when I was a baby and loved it
Aj Lomo we went on that ride in late November and she is still scared of tunnels or riding into darkness. We also got stuck on spaceship earth and we were stuck in the mammoth scene with pitch black and scary noises. It was terrible.
Thanks so much! We are going in March, and this trip will now include our 2 year old and a 9 month old grandchildren, so this will be super helpful. We never really plan extensively for our trips, but I am this year. We want to get the most out of this trip and not spend time standing around trying to decide what rides would be good with them.
My toddler would be content to just ride the monorail all day. Maybe we’ll just let him do that instead of buying him an AP when he turns 3. 🤣 (KIDDING)
My toddler hated triceratops spin and was terrified, she was only one at the time. She liked the little mermaid ride and it's a small world. We're going back when she's two so maybe she will like the rides more🤷. I love your video's they have been so hopeful when planning for Disney!
They love the tractor concept for Pixar rides. Shanghai Disney opened up a Toy Story Land too, and there’s this ride (I don’t know the English translation) that could be called ‘Bullseye’s Ranch’ ?? It’s basically the Aliens ride
We went with another family in November, they had their 3 year old with them. They left me with the task of planning the rides, etc. Your list is very close to what i came up with. Note that discussion with the child before riding solves lots of things. Our then 4 y/o granddaughter worried re Dumbo (her parents suffer from motion sickness), but i talked with her about how i would ride with her AND she would be in charge of how high she would make us fly. It worked and then when we went to AK & she saw the green dinosaurs she immediately identified it as like the Dumbo ride and she wanted to get on it now -- easy for that ride. We also discussed Haunted Mansion and that nothing would hurt her -- the ride is a party, so she rode it without issues. Little ones who watch Disney TV are primed to trust Disney and want to experience. The adults tend to be more concerned than the kids. Don't stress and the kids will be fine.
My three year old FREAKED OUT on Pirates of the Caribbean, but loved Na'vi River Journey. I think it was all the yelling and the cannons. His favorite thing overall was The Enchanted Tiki Room attraction. haha We had to watch it twice and then watch it on youtube when we got home.
bttw dont start on Barnstormer to intro them to roller coasters when I was younger I loved the old barn stormier but now they made it so it hurts your stomach when I was little: however I recommend Slinky Dog Dash it is the most lie the old barnstormer. But my first roller coaster was Big Thunder mt so just depends ( sorry not trying to be rude it came out that way sorry 😬)
Sorry but I'm still kinda afraid of Journey Into Imagination and I was terrified of it as a kid. I know kids are scared of different things but you completely forgot the sound test room where it goes PITCH BLACK and a loud train noise blares and wind is blown on you. That probably would set a lot of toddlers off. And the jump scare at the end??? I'm sure some toddlers get through it perfectly fine but I'm really confused why there's no warnings on that one.

I plan to go to WDW in august and since one of my nephews is 2 years old he doesn’t need tickets since he will be for free, but wondering since the parks are limited in capacity will my 2 year old nephew still be able to go into WDW? reason why I ask as since he doesn’t have a ticket and if they see him come in they might stop us cuz many ppl booked the park that day that they can’t go pass the capacity.

We were there in August and road the safari ride..... ride stopped and stuck for 2+ hours!!!! Was so hot. we did get lots of bottles of water and fast passes for the long wait
It's Tough to be a Bug is also a great ride for small children too! It is a bit dark at times though, and the bugs may spook some children, but it's a great one that usually has a less than 20 minute wait!
Our son is 3 now and this is his third time going to Disney world in April. We are going for 12 days and spaced out our time at each park to not feel rushed. He wants to ride slinky dog and meets the height requirement but not 100% sure. We have fast passes also, but if he gets to the front of the line and doesn’t want to ride it, can we use rider switch there?
Alien Swirling Saucers and Toy Story Mania are both at studios. Other than than there’s only 4 other rides which are all bigger and geared more towards older kids :)
You said that the train is closed because they're building the Tron ride and that it will be open soon. If soon you mean 2021 then yeah but even now it's still 2 years away.
When I went on barnstormer it shut down for an hour and there was a little rain but we got infinite fast passes for the day but it was almost closing so rip

I went and how come no one mentions the fast pass bands? I'm confused do u get to go in fast pass all the time or is it like scheduling fast passes with only 3 per day?
The very first ride my toddler ever went on was Peter Pan, she was petrified because it was so dark and seemed as if she was up high in the sky. 3 years later and she still won't get on it :(
So anyone have any idea if a rather tall 3 and half year old would be able to ride any of the more thrilling rides like mine train, the train coaster, slinky dog? I believe she is going to be just turning 4 when we are at Disney and is the same height as her 5 year old cousin currently lol.
My 18 month old HATED Winnie the Pooh! The Tigger scene is very dark and Tigger pops up to surprise you and is very loud! He loved little mermaid and finding Nemo which are also dark- but Pooh was a no go
You can, but I'm not fully sure if you have to do so with three adults getting on the ride first and the fourth adult getting on alone. You can probably ask a cast member to let two adults ride at a time.
Yes, we had the same combo one of the adult couldn't ride some of the rides but did want to ride others where one of the toddles was too small ride we left one adult with the child and the rest of the group got on the ride then switched adults and the group got on again.

How to get fast pass ? We are planning in jan with 3 yr old? Is it good time to visit?
I went and how come no one mentions the fast pass bands? I'm confused do u get to go in fast pass all the time or is it like scheduling fast passes with only 3 per day?
The very first ride my toddler ever went on was Peter Pan, she was petrified because it was so dark and seemed as if she was up high in the sky. 3 years later and she still won't get on it :(
RIP Fastpass!
Yayy!! Tysm :)
So anyone have any idea if a rather tall 3 and half year old would be able to ride any of the more thrilling rides like mine train, the train coaster, slinky dog? I believe she is going to be just turning 4 when we are at Disney and is the same height as her 5 year old cousin currently lol.
Something similar to this video…but a little more recent?!
Ok I’m not watching this cuz I’m because I’m deathly scared of most of the attractions 😅
"Acid trip" Did i really hear that right lol
My 18 month old HATED Winnie the Pooh! The Tigger scene is very dark and Tigger pops up to surprise you and is very loud! He loved little mermaid and finding Nemo which are also dark- but Pooh was a no go
We have a group of 6 4 adults 2 toddlers can we still do the rider switch option anyone know?
You can, but I'm not fully sure if you have to do so with three adults getting on the ride first and the fourth adult getting on alone. You can probably ask a cast member to let two adults ride at a time.
Yes, we had the same combo one of the adult couldn't ride some of the rides but did want to ride others where one of the toddles was too small ride we left one adult with the child and the rest of the group got on the ride then switched adults and the group got on again.
