Have you ever been in the midst of enjoying your favourite frozen treat, only to have to stop because you feel like there’s a construction worker drilling inside your brain? That, friends, is a little phenomenon called “brain freeze.” Don’t worry, it’s fairly common, and unfortunately linked to the consumption of deliciously cold food stuffs like ice cream, slushies, and popsicles. Fortunately it’s not that serious, and there ARE ways to stop it from happening, and even cure it once it IS happening...and we’ll tell you all about them in this video!
So join us on a trip to your local Seven-Eleven, and we’ll tell you all about why brain freeze happens, what it feels like, and whether or not there are any serious consequences that can result from it. Then, we’ll tell you how to stop a brain freeze once you have one, and what you can do to make sure you never have a brain freeze ever again! We’ll even tell you which frozen food is most likely to give you a bad brain freeze, so you can be a more discerning consumer! Sound chill? Alright then, lets get to it!

I have found that quickly throwing my head back or forward instantly undoes the brain freeze. I think this works because it momentarily drains a bit of blood from your brain. Also makes you slightly dizzy for a second but that is certainly preferable to the agony of a brain freeze.

It hurts like HELL you could feel it in the back of your eyes and all over your brain
