They were so much more consistently better throughout their shows than any band. Never a bad song.

Nice to see the crew so young, happy, and vibrant.

Thanks for uploading this, it brings back happy memories of seeing them at Reading Festival that year (playing songs from Siamese Dream in the UK for the first time, perhaps?) Anyway, you've done your best with the audio, and if you've ever been to Southampton Guildhall, you know what a huge, vast, cavernous space it is, so the sound bounces around something chronic. Great set though, from a golden era. :)

I was there! I saw the Pumpkins a few times but this was a special show, where it all gelled. Lights were good too. If only we could get the mixing desk audio...

This IS WHEN the Pumpkins were just flat out rocking like a m’fkr!!! God, I have a ton of shows from the Siamese Dream era and man I tell ya..! I can’t find 1 bad show thruout the entire collection! Of course, I know just about any/all of ya out there that are Pumpkin fans are most likely to tell me that I’m basically committing blasphemy to try n say anything of theirs is to rank above the enormous MCIS live era! (... which I’d probably want to maybe agree w/ya at least a couple of diff times such as for instance, the Indy show on 06/27/96 which I so happened to get the awesome chance of meeting n talking thruout the night (after the show was over) all members but Shirley Manson Of Garbage & then James Iha and then much later D’arcy & her sister who she referred to as her ‘stunt double’ etc etc... ) So yeah maybe I’ll say that those particular shows of that timeframe were a lil more badass but you can probably see why I would vote it that way. I mean, what was that gigantic era of shows from late ‘95 up thru’ ...well I know for sure til around Nov ‘97?! Hell, maybe even up til early ‘98, can’t remember for sure at the moment but defntly know that tour went on for at least 2 yrs which at that time was a lot for a band such as them back then. Thing is though... what was diff w/the Siamese Dream tour vs the MCIS tour is that well man...! You just did not get nowhere near the same damn quality of friggin’ rocking ass performances espcly when it came to tracks such as Geek USA, Quiet, Rocket, Soma, Mayonnaise, Hummer & Drown! Now out of those, Geek USA & Mayonnaise was played thruout the early legs of the MCIS tour quite a bit but nowhere near the same passion went into playing those tracks ulike it was for the SD tour! Yeah, I know that they have of all things, a double cd of music to promote & try to passionately play/sell to the masses of fans who want to see a lot of the newer sh*t played but ugh! Idk, maybe it’s just me but the 1993-‘94 shows were just unforgettably badass rocking shows!!!
