Timestamp from the 1920's gets new life - restored and given a fancy display stand in the 2020's

  • Watch as I get this 1920's date and timestamp up to working condition and pair it up with 21st century accessories using custom-designed 3D-printed parts.
    This video features a date / timestamp clock repair, ultrasonic cleaning, cutting a circle in glass, metal buffing and polishing, CAD (computer-aided design) software (Fusion 360), printing a hinged box and stamp holder on a Flashforge 3D Creator 3 Pro, an ink pad and a clock windup key.

    This is the first time I have ever seen a device that can stamp time and date on something. It looks like a real antique. Good job restoring the time stamper.

    Sougo’s uncle would have loved to repair one of these, mainly because its a rare piece, also he’s a clock repair man.

    Can I ask that you change your font colour on the comments you put bottom left. When you're watching on a small device like a phone it's virtually impossible to read in the grey colour you chose. Thank you X

    I recognise that ultrasonic cleaner. I used to use the same model, daily for nearly ten years when I worked in a Dental Laboratory. Haven't seen one in nearly nine years. Strange what you remember.
