How To Shape Kaiser Rolls

I make kaiser rolls all the time and it is easy to tie into knots. King author flour has a short great video how to knot them. Just make sure you flour both hands so when you prepare knot the dough does not stick to your hands tying them. I found out the hard way. It takes a few times but I stopped using the stamp.

This is all wrong. Kaiser rolls are a form of braided bread. Using a stamp is just a way to fake it.

Disgusting. I am a Chef and Pro baker and I only make proper Kaiser rolls. Stamping them is something a child might do.
