  • Wireguard with WGDashboard is something I use constantly. It is a simple and secure solution to allow me access to my home LAN while away. Setup is a breeze and it just plain works! Today I run through them up on a Proxmox server using Proxmox VE Helper-Scripts.

    And port forwarding on the router to be able to connect from outside the local network?

      @heliolux this is for connecting to a service like SurfShark, VPN Unlimited, NORD VPN etc. This is not for accessing your home network while away. If you want to do that and you have a homelab server set up on Proxmox check out my other video here: ruclips.net/video/OVelAzQRigk/видео.html

      @@heliolux weird. It showed under another video I thought. But yes you do need to port forward. You have 2 ports in the setup, 1 for the webui and a second for clients to connect on. I recommend changing the client connection port. I did in my setup.
