I've always ordered with the subscription and canceled the auto renew directly after receiving delivery to get the best price. They don't complain because I always reorder when I eventually run out anyway.
This was actually super helpful! I used black edition everywhere as a breakfast at 7am and it usually holds me till 3pm but I think I'm gonna try this superblend now. Thank you for the video!
This is awesome...you are absolute pros. while it's a longer video than I'd typically watch, it's targeted for people that have a vested interest in this product and their health. One suggestion would be to put timestamps in the video in case someone is only interested in one part. Such as "price", "nutrients", etc. Thank you so much for this! Your point about not knowing a particular supplement shows your transparency and even the small reviews such as the "mess" it makes. Spot on! Thanks
Thanks so much for the kind words and good feedback. We are not very tech savvy as you can see our videos are not super high quality but I will look into the time stamp thing.
Hi guys. Thank you for this video. It’s been super helpful. I have all three products at home. I’m considering switching out the daily superblend with Premier Protein. But, I’m concerned about the carrageenan. Which product do you think is better?
@@amandakarbowski5212 I have not done a deep dive into that particular brand so I don’t want to make any recommendations without being properly informed.
Thanks! Ive been using Huel since 2018. I enjoy Black ed, Greens as a periodic boost in my smoothies and I do like Savory, but really the curries. I couldnt see what Id gain for the cost of Superfoods, and this supports my doubts. I started for quick, easy, easy to digest, portable and nutriet high meals. Done. Also I take an old vitamin powder tub and carefully transfer my Huel for easier scooping. I find it has this static cling effect and is so messy. Some nice canisters would be nice. Like the ones the protein boosts are in would work fine. Side note - I'd love if we could trust people to have a refill system. Send canisters back in, get them cleaned and shipped back with powder refilled.
Thanks for the great video! I'm trying to decide if I should switch from ag1/athletic greens to huel because of the protein in huel and better flavor and the cost of ag1 is a lot more
If you’re talking about the HUEL greens powder, the amount of protein is pretty negligible. If you’re talking about the meal replacement then the protein content is very high, but it is slightly different in terms of the nutrient profiles. There are pluses and minuses to each product, but I think you probably picked that up from the video.
We have not tried it. I just looked it up. Unfortunately we cannot make a meaningful assessment or comparison as there was not more than a basic nutrition profile available. That image mentions a proprietary blend but not the constituents of the micronutrients.
Nathan ended up doing a combination of the black edition in the daily super blend and thinks it’s fine. Tiffany mostly uses the daily greens more than anything else and sometimes use the black edition. She hasn’t super blends that much.
That really depends on what goals you’re trying to meet. But what I would probably do personally, and my husband would do on the days where I was going to have the black edition because I was looking for more of a meal and more protein I would do the greens with it. That is actually something we’ve done for many many months now on a fairly regular basis. I would do the superblend on the days where I was looking for a way to combine migraines with getting a little bit of protein and more like a snack size meal, rather than a full meal.
I think you have a few options there. One option is to take it whenever you would be most likely to eat your unhealthiest meal. Or when you just don’t think it’s convenient to have a proper meal. Another option is after your workout because of the protein content. Something we often do is breakfast because it’s just super convenient and easy to do and it’s a nice way to start out the day with a lot of protein.
Here's my thing, I always feel like when you open up these bags for the first time, doesn't all the nutrition in there start oxidizing and lose potency? So why don't they just individually package each small serving so each serving is fresh and potent and it fixes the big bag issue...
because of the waste. I prefer Huel over other companies because of the larger bags that result in less trash from the packaging. And the packaging is not paper and its also not recyclable. This is an issue that they acknowledge and there is info about it on their website
Is it better to just take a multivitamin instead. I know these products are “food” and would be preferred. Unless your goals are meal replacement, but if the goal is filling in gaps on nutrition a multivitamin seems like it would be a better choice.
@@DavidSR1127 You could do that. Conceptually the bio availability of something that’s already broken down more should be helpful. So for example, a tablet which is hard would be very difficult for the body to break down and assimilate prior to elimination. AKA expensive poop. A a gel cap would probably work better or a liquid. This would kind of fall under more of a liquid version or semi digested so that in theory you would be able to remove more of the ingredients from the supplement during digestion. The only real way to know if something is actually changing is to do some bloodwork for certain micro nutrients, such as vitamin D, B12, iron, etc., and see if supplementation improves it. In this case you would be treating deficiency. Although a lot of people take a multivitamin without any specific deficiency as well. Certainly the cost can go way down with some of these alternatives.
Daily superblend is not for sale in the whole of the EU and UK so i would look into it because something in this blend is banned in half the world so it can't be that good for you. Daily greens is good over here though
That is super interesting because Tiffany had a lot of GI issues with this particular product. We are considering making a follow up video on that. When the ingredient list is so long it can be hard to distinguish these sorts of things. Nathan did not have this same issue. However, we have decided that product is not for us moving forward.

My plan is super for initial breakfast pre gym. A smaller mid morning breakfast. then black for lunch then regular dinner.
Let us know how that works out.

Honestly like what Nathan said I was curious about the super blend and black mixing together I was curious if that should be the way to go.
Could be a good option.
You can actually cancel the subscription right after your order so you never have to worry about it!
I am not sure. I haven’t tried that. Let us know how that works out.
@@nathanandtiffany It does work! I have been doing it since I started buying Huel last year. Would recommend.

If you are taking the new super green and black once a day each would u recommend that and how many days would It last for. Thankyou
I think that could be a good option for some people. The Superblend has 19 servings and the black has 17 servings.
Okay thankyou so much for replying when would u recommend in the day taking the black one

The black Huel has Green Tea Extract. That has caffeine…Is there green tea in the Superfood?
