The downtown of Playa is very walkable with one of the largest pedestrian streets. Tulum is somewhat walkable but there is a 3km distance between the downtown and beach area. So, we might assume you have done some already? This tour is a good introductory to Mexican food. Playa does get a lot of first timers to Mexico or might know just this side. Playa Del Carmen is also a mix of people from all over Mexico since it has attracted people to move here. These people have brought regional dishes and taste which attribute to the wide range of Mexican dishes you can find here.
