We were the same, but once you get into it its very relaxing and also great when the weather is a bit pants outside, some of the cars look amazing as well
Calum for the win 🥇. That boy 👦 is an epic driver. He can drive anything. You know what they should do a triathlon with RC . Drift bash 5th scale then buggy 8th scale around a track. Very few people can drive everything well and consistent. 👏 good job buddy.

Another amazing footage I love drifting so much but its ashame alot of people in the drifting community are to serious and quick to say that's not real drifting blah blah blah. Love you guys keep up the great work
Thanks, the guys here are really cool and helpful, always help with the set up an even let you try their cars etc. The only real rule is that it must be rear wheel drive and have white or silver dot tires, otherwise it kills the carpet

@@HardcoreRC yeah, defiantly harder than it looks. It's quite different to the drifting and power sliding we do off road. The main thing I've learned so far is space. The first few times you use it, you will realise how much space you need initially. Empty car parks are popular.

@@HardcoreRC pretty much where I'm at. I take mine out for 3 to 5 minute bursts at a time. I have been getting a little better every time.
I must say I thought this was going to be a comparison on which one is better electric or gasoline RC vehicles but oh well. But I must say you guys were hauling butt around that track you were going really really fast thanks.

That's ok, the layout changes around every 6 to 8 weeks so that its gives difference challenges etc, think that was put in to create a challenge as you enter the corner, its not been there on any other track layout, likely wont be when the track changes again

Thats defo a mint track a a top video love a good drift car , got the maverick strada dc brushless drift car but it just as good with road tyres and does 44mph

Drifting definitely takes a bit of getting used to especially if ya have never done it. Kalam is doing great. I used to race dirt oval. On practice nights we would put oil on our foam tires and drift the oval track with 20 degree bank corners. That was a blast. Believe it or not once the oil wore off a bit it made the tires hook up even better so after several laps ya had to apply more to drift properly.

Im noob trying to get into the RC drifting, at this stage debating shall I get MST RX 2.5 RTR or build DY2DX- seems a bit like rocket science when you haven’t owned any RC in past

Do someone know where to buy a good beginner rc drift var that i van adjust in the furiren to make it better for pro drifting?
The best option is to start with the MST RMX platform either the 2.0 or the 2.5 - if you go with anything cheaper it wont be worth upgrading. The cheapest option being the brushed RTR one

what are the spec tires for the track?
We had MST White dots but can also use Silver Dots

That is a beautiful place! But no offence guys, that is some of the most boring RC I've seen. I feel the same way about drifting IRL also. It just goes against everything I know about cars and performance, Lol.
