Wow! I remember Test Drive Overdrive and I even played it when I was in elementary school and I own another a copy of the game this year since I purchased it online a few years ago. I really did like TD Overdrive so much and while it wasn't a perfect racing game by any means, it certainly did the job and I did beat underground mode even though it wasn't easy because of traffic, police, and obstacles getting in the way and I did rage at the game to be honest when it was messing with me. I managed to unlock all of the cars, tracks, and even the rare special ones too. Got some bad news though; there unfortunately wasn't a Test Drive Overdrive 2 game in the works because despite the cliffhanger ending from the first game after the credits which reveals that Clark called Hail to steal the Dodge Viper GTS-R Concept back, Pitbull had unfortunately lost the IP for Test Drive soon after this game, and it ended up in the hands of someone else. Which means that a possible sequel for this game has been either scraped or even not completely official and all we got nowadays are spin-offs like TDU1, TDU2, Test Drive Ferrari Racing Legends, and the upcoming TDU Solar Crown. Test Drive Overdrive was also the last Test Drive game to be developed by Pitbull Syndicate. I'm so sorry everyone, but it's unfortunately true and I just wish that Pitbull Syndicate would at least try to redeem themselves, get some help, and at least try to make up for their mistake into making a TD Overdrive 2 video game after all these years of waiting and from a long hiatus. :(

Had a bit of a nostalgia trip with this one. Managed to get it working on pcsx2 but my EE cyclerate can only go to -2 instead of -3. It still works however now Im stuck in race 5 of SF as it freezes midway thru the race. Any solutions? Im also playing on native graphics as during daytime races playing higher seems to mess with the frames a bunch.
How did you manage to run it smoothly on pcsx2? And what version of PCSX2 you've used? Mine always have some gamebreaking bugs, first it's often hard to get past the Pong loading screen without messing with speedhacks then secondly when the race loaded the framerate suddenly drops to 6fps and it makes PCSX2 hangs My specs Ryzen 5 2600 2X8gb 3200mhz ddr4 ram SSD 250gb HDD 2tb GTX 1060 6GB I've just able to run more demanding games like GT4 and emulators like Cemu just fine with this hardware. Maybe I'm just trying the PC version instead out of frustration but not sure if its going to play well with this modern configuration :/
I think PCSX2 is not compatible with AMD mate.. but i'm not quite sure about that. You can try some speedhack or lower the internal resolution to get better FPS. :)
funny, most pcsx2 games run fine, I think it's more to do with buggy nature of pcsx2 Already tried it and managed to load the race perfectly although the pause menu and race results menu looks weird and glitchy with no text displayed whatsoever, perhaps the devs should include some of fixes as an automated patch on their next version or something xD

Arrivé chez moi je me précipite sur ma console allume la TV ouvre la boîte et vois le cd au dessin quelque peut cartoonesque pour un jeux de ce type je lance donc le jeu et quel ne fut pas ma surprise de voir que je jouais A . Penny's overdrive ou un truc du genre un jeu de courses avec des voitures qui vont dans l eau et vol dans un univers où on dirait que c est un enfant qui a fait les désigné des voiture fin bref je fais un pavé parce que j' ai envie et que personne ne lira ça
How the heck did you get yours to work on the PCSX2? I couldn't get it to work for the life of me when my Main PC was working properly. I'ma try it again when I get the money for a Decent Gaming PC. But I gotta say. That intro was bad awful. and those Characters looked ugly af.

Pitbull Syndicate turned unto a Atari studio after Test Drive Overdrive, that is why doens't have a new game.

how were you able to get this to work? I cannot get past the intro. the forums also say that it can't be played past the intro
You *MUST* enable the speedhacks (EE Cyclerate Set to -3) to boot the game.
