Thanks so much for being there for us, RaoulDuke504. You have made a great job of this, despite the problematic acoustics of the Museum. And what a pleasure to hear them playing this number, with a good vocal from Albanie, and relaxed super solos.
@@glendakirby5579 When I first watched this performance I did exactly the same as you. I agree this is as good or better than any I found. Peggy Lee's version was great, however.
I just got around to watching these videos from the Ogden. WOW! What a special night. Thanks for being there and recording this historic occasion RaoulDuke. And thanks for overcoming the horrible acoustics in the museum.
How interesting that the instruments can use the acoustics better than the voice. I assume this is because the voice made more use of microphone and consequently was using a different dynamic almost the opposite of abaroque
Haruka on the trombone is fantastic! She gets it!
This is my favorite trombone solo ever, anywhere. Fantastic.
Superb band and a haunting vocal by Albanie echoing around the Ogden.
Such a great band, and it's fun to hear Albanie Falletta playing with them. Thanks very much for recording and sharing this.

Love your recordings Raoul, you do a great job making the bands sound good!
Wow! I've read some complaints about the acoustics in this venue, but they were tailor made for this haunting rendition, and this voice.Memorable.
I decided to sit and listen to all the greats who have covered this song, and there are a lot.Peggy Lee came a close second, but for me,this beats all.

What a band! Splendid
Great lead vocal and red hot slide trombone Love it
Great work RaoulDuke.....your work is only surpassed by these fabulous six ladies. Albanie is a great fit with the others.
One of the finest versions of this tune I've ever heard. I'm sure a certain Lady would approve.
These ladies nailed it. It felt as if they were playing to the acoustics. It was reminiscent of one of those 50's musicals set in Times Square.
And above of all that, Molly Reeves on the bass. Fantastic!
Excellent, all of you nailed it
Classic version of this song. My personal favorite.
Fantastic performance by all the gals!
Best version yet!
Marvelous!
The acoustics gave it special quality!
How can anyone dislike this ?
Another great video from RaoulDuke. Thanks for sharing.

Glad you enjoyed it! they really are great
WOW!
orchestre de filles geniales
Could use a little background ensemble behind solos and vocal. Otherwise very nice & relaxed
