I don't understand the drive to earn money when he can work for a French company in Korea. I think if Korean work culture didn't involve living at the office and mandatory social events so often he could be quite happy doing work from home programming, spending time racing and feel he could have a relationship with his wife besides making her breakfast. I think it's her schedule that is the problem.
