I downsized to a Pedaltrain Metro 20 with just 6 pedals. One spot is actually a pedal-du-jour slot. I swap in and out pedals according to the gig I am doing. In this way I halved my pedalboard following the 90/10 rule. I focus on playing rather than aimlessly trying out sounds
That sounds like a great setup! And yeah absolutely, it’s so easy to forgot what’s actually important and obsess over tones and options, I’m certainly guilty of that with my delay pedal sometimes😆 thanks for watching!
@@samwestguitar I use a Polytune 3 Mini, Pedal-du-jour slot, Tumnus, Strymon Riverside, Keeley Halo delay and the Strymon Flint. Currently I have a Mooer e-lady flanger on the pedal-du-jour slot but sometimes I use a Phase 90 instead. I built all my drive sounds around the Riverside + Tumnus combo and the Halo was specifically chose because has 8 recallable memory slots and because it goes down to 5ms, great to fake a chorus in a pinch.
Damn, I love your pedals bro, it's nice to see a video about them. Keep up the great work
Thanks so much bro!

Love the Billy Gibbons "squeal" from the oxblood, a long way in at 10:56 ish
Thanks ! Yes, a very versatile pedal! 😁
Great job!
Thanks for watching and commenting! 😊
All of these pedals sound amazing, I think my favourite is the first one though!! Great video☺️
Thank you so much!😁 makes it worth the massive space it takes up!😆
“Dedger vibe”? Mon dieu *clutches pearls*
One of your larger pedals is almost the size of the entire board 😂
Haha, it is what it is. Gotta get those ambient vibes in😆
@@samwestguitar the delays and reverbs are the best part of any board
