On days where I feel alone I have your vids/streams and twitch chat to make sure I'm not entirely alone, and on days where I have a hard time even getting out of bed I've been pulling myself out to at least do some workouts with you (even if I can't do quite as many push-ups, lol). Essentially what I'm trying to say thank you for all the great content. It may not seem like the most wholesome stream sometimes but it has helped me a lot. Just know you've always got a fan in me! the number of times I've doom rolled all of my rerolls away for cast +1 with stygian soul only to never get one, makes watching you get 3 in a row requiring only a single roll honestly hilarious to me.
Hunting Blades on Achilles was one of the most OP builds I've managed to pull together, and that was without legendaries. The fact that you got both legendaries, too, is bonkers!

Just had a run where I didn't get the Ares legendary but you know what, Dad gets deleted just as quickly with Seeking Blades and Mirage Shot. Also had two chaos boons where collectively cast got +66% damage

You can also equip keepsakes that guarantees you to get certain gods and from boons you already have equipped. Also you can be quite sure of the boons you'll get in some cases (for example if your special, attack and cast is booned you're likely to have a dash or a call in your next boon)
Something that could work out for Artemis Aid could have been a boosted cast launch (tracks and deal more damage, goes faster, or same strength but rapid fire it equal to the amount of gauge you have, rarity improving either damage or the amount possible (I guess normal would 4 max, but heroic is 4 minimum and 16 max, sounds absolutely wack, even without dmg boost if you do play with cast lol)
Honestly, if they'd just throw like 1/3 of Ares Boons into trash, he'll be an overall more desirable god. Rage and Frenzy are so niche, Urge is basically bad and most of the time it's just there as a non-duo-enabling / non-slot-shitting choice, Vengeance is just terrible like almost all such boons outside of making meme AFK build which generally fails to deliver anyway. It was such a letdown seeing SG keeping pumping garbage into boon pools around last content updated during early access.

there's a reroll mod that even shows that eventually you will just roll the same exact boons over and over again.
There's a preference to fill out the core boons first
Really strange if you can't get freezing vortex with hunting blades but you can get both cast duos for trippy shot

I literally just did a run like this with the infernal soul instead, rare cropped rift, all 3 rift upgrade booms from ares. It was glorious

Follow up to the other comment, you have to have beaten the story and maybe the epilogue. It takes awhile to unlock
its so broken your blade rift damage alone was over crit damage(200% bonus) for every hit haha

Why not infernel soul?
Stygian soul has a higher damage potential, but you need to get lucky and get at least on extra cast from chaos or Artemis legendary.
I may try this, but if I go for the homing version of the cast I will be choosing infernal soul definitely.
