So, I feel like he might be one of those players who gets close to winning one & then doesn't really appear in that convo again, like how PG was 3rd in 2019, AD was 3rd in 2018, Kawhi was 2nd in 2017, or others like Melo, CP3, Dwight Howard, Wade, etc. For him to win MVP, he's going to have to improve upon what he did last year, which would be tough. I'd say 60+ wins, definitively secure the 1st seed in the West (last year them & Denver had the same records, but they just had the tiebreaker), & average like 30-7-7. Giannis, Jokic, Doncic, Embiid (if healthy), these guys are consistently in that MVP convo every year & they're just better than SGA. Imo, they're probably the top 4 best players in the NBA right now. SGA is good, but I don't look at him & say "he'll be the best player in the NBA someday." I don't see him as a generational talent, like those other guys I mentioned, & he's not like a Curry, LeBron, KD, Kobe, either.
