Such a beautiful idea and family project. I would love to do something like this with my mom with a flower garden/vegetable garden. My mom use to have a coy pond which could fit in the plan as well. I’ve been watching your videos all night as I’m getting over Covid. Never got sick during the pandemic and now me and my immediate family have been quarantined together so I have cabin fever and making big plans when this is over! Can’t wait to see the next video when the bees arrive ❤

Glad to see you all getting back into beekeeping. Usually, you have to move bees no more than 2 feet or no less than 2 miles (roughly- I’ve pushed both of those limits). Do the bees not get out for several days at a time during the winter? What’s the plan for moving them such a short distance without losing your foragers?

I honestly don’t know . I feel we were given a lot of bad info so I will be doing more research for the next time.

Are y'all going to paint the bee boxes? My sister just had me make custom artwork for the sides of her bee boxes so the bees know which hive they belong to and won't end up at the wrong hive/queen.

That was my plan and I will do it before we get more bees.

Wow I didn’t know that was even possible. Exciting to learn something new!
