    Glad you are using an IO box. VERY important addition and not expensive! Do you have your stream deck settings much deeper than what you showed here ? Fun tour - Nice set up!

      Yes, I find my workflow way more efficient and accurate with an IO :)
      For my stream deck, I just put a base Davinci Resolve menu, I found myself pretty limited with it, so I am right now programming some features that I need via keyboard maestro.
      When I finish it, I will share my process :)

    Thanks Frenchie CG. Appreciate the tour.
    I’ve also got a micro panel and would never grade without it, is speeds things up so much.
    I’m also want to get myself an I/O device but I have a 4k reference screen similar to your monitor, but is the maximum display resolution of the i/o device 1080 x 1920? If so, is there any point is using a 4k reference monitor?
    Thanks again for the tour. Really useful.

      So it depends on what will he your output I feel. For me, most of the time, the commercials I am grading are output in 1080p so I don’t find the need to have a 4k feed.
      If you know that the final output have other destinations like theaters, or other display that would need more than 1080p, then you should send your feed to your monitor in 4k and use a ultrastudio 4k mini :)

      @@frenchiecolorgrading I'll do a video someday. I've got the micro as well! I'm not grading all the time, so it's easy to move when not in use.

    hello Chloe, I want to get the UltraStudio Monitor 3G. I have read it only supports up to 1080 60f, does that mean it wont properly work using 4k monitors?

    • @frenchiecolorgrading
      @frenchiecolorgrading  Год назад

      Hello ! :)
      So it will display on your 4k monitor but only in 1080p, so you can use it if you are good sending the feed in this resolution.
      If you want to send out in 4k, you will have to invest then in a ultrastudio 4k mini :)

    Nice setup, what calibrator are you using?

    • @frenchiecolorgrading
      @frenchiecolorgrading  Год назад +1

      I use the display color checker pro by calibrite, mine was actually offered with my grading monitor :)

      @@frenchiecolorgrading I would love to see a tutorial n how you calibrate your monitor. I just bought an Asus ProArt Monitor with BM Ultrastudio Monitor 3G and the color checker pro.

    Hello @frenchiecolorgrading !
    Je me demandais aussi si j'allais prendre le 3G Monitor car il sort en 1080p et je suis dans le même cas que toi, j'ai un Asus 32" 4K
    Du coup, côté monitoring, c'est sharp ou pas ?
    Comment fais-tu, tu as une timeline en 4K, un monitoring en 1080 et tu exportes en 4K, ou bien tu mets aussi ta timeline en 1080 ?
    Victor

      Alors, pour moi comme la plupart des rendus finaux sont en HD, ca ne derange pas vraiment que mon i/o ne fait que de la HD. Je suis dans la pub et je n'ai pas vraiment besoin de plus vu que les exports vivent sur RUclips,instagram, facebook et TV.
      En revanche, si tu as besoins que les exports finaux soient en 4k, donc tu es dans des longs projets, plus souvent, films,series, docu ...etc, il faudra que tu es un ultrastudio 4k car le feed que tu veux transmettre se rapprochera beaucoup plus du produit final :)

    Bonjours. I do speak french but i will ask my question in english. I'm thinking about to buy the M2 max with 1tB ssd in it. I'm asking becuz i do edits with heavy color grades & FX. I would like to use relight with out my computer choking on me. What is your thoughts about it?

    • @frenchiecolorgrading
      @frenchiecolorgrading  Год назад +1

      Salut !
      I think a M2 max with a good core GPU, you won't have any problems to edit and color grade raw footage and run relight :)

    • @ozzythemighty2767
      @ozzythemighty2767 Год назад

      @@frenchiecolorgrading I'm going with the base M2 max except for the 1 TB ssd. Specs are, 12-core CPU with 8 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores
      30-core GPU 16-core Neural Engine 400GB/s memory bandwidth. the gpu looks ok..Just really hoping not to have a hard time with it. Thq Frenchie.. :)
