  • Some headphones clamp too hard. I'm trying to reduce clamping force on SENNHEISER HD 6XX and SENNHEISER HD 380 Pro headphones with 3D printed parts.

    this helped me so much, I dont have a 3d printer so went for the ruler and straps (used Velcro so I could make it tight without them coming loose, also removable) and the result was instantly noticeable, I'll need to go out and get something better suited but for now this is great

    Thanks man, used the ruler and some zip ties, alleviated the clamp force. I have ear lobes that stick out and it puts so much pressure on them.

    Some headphones do come with head clamping force adjustment. They tend to be bulky and ugly as heck. AKG headphones are infamous or famous for this bet they are as good as Sennheiser when comparing medium end headphones in the $400 to $800 range. I am still partial to most Sennheiser headphones such as the Momentum, 620S and Game Zero. As you can tell, I prefer hot wearing, noise cancelling headphones.

    It worked amazing, thanks!! I just have an inquiry, if I leave the headphone for a month, for example, while it is in this state, will it return to the way it was if I removed the piece?

    • @user-mw4ju9oe7v
      @user-mw4ju9oe7v Год назад

      According to the theory of elasticity, Yes it will! But it will take some time which will be much less than the time you left the headphone for adjustment.

    Just take 2 plastic bags of the color you like and make them into balls on each side. It is much faster, reversible and if you are a perfectionist you can give them the desired shape
