- Опубликовано: 5 июл 2024
- This video covers:
- What particle theory is (also known as kinetic theory)
- How substances change from one state to another e.g. from solid to liquid
- The idea that density doesn't change when substances changes state.
General info:
- Suitable for all GCSE and IGCSE courses
- See below for whether it is higher or foundation tier for your exam board
- See below for whether it is triple or combined for your exam board
Exam board specific info:
AQA - Everything is relevant to your course!
IGCSE Edexcel - Separate science and higher tier only
Edexcel - Everything is relevant to your course!
OCR 21st Century - Everything is relevant to your course!

Hello, i really find your videos helpful. Would it be possible if you could make questions suitable for WJEC exam board as its quite different to other exam boards i think
thanks
@@rxhsn1212 You could just search up the topic you want to learn more then search up WJEC for example: states of matter for exam board WJEC
teacher: 2 weeks to explain all this
cognito: does it all in 4 minutes:)
well done cognito!

i have an exam literally tomorrow i cant thank you enough for making science actually make some sense to me.
How did it go ???
this is not even science bruh. This is basic knowledge everyone should have
@@krishnachopda1062 what if he is lower tier
Same
@@krishnachopda1062 be so fr rn lmao, it is science no matter what. just bc its basic doesn't mean its not science what type of logic is that? many of the main concepts are formed only bc of the basics.
Was told to watch this in online science

i have an exam on this in 20minutes!!! thanks so much
is it alright if i copies almost everything word for word??
haha i did that lmao
Our science teacher sent the link to watch this
Thank u for ur explanation! :-)
I watched this at school and also home time ... It helped a lot in my study ... Thanks for making these useful videos 😊
Have my last exam on Friday, your videos are helping a lot! Thanks
thanks a lot. I have a bio, chemistry, maths and physics exam in the following week and I can't thank you enough for all the videos you did. Thanks
ur the best man! keep doing what you do best! many people find this useful and pass their exams thanks to you!
Thanks Sovereign! we really appreciate it 🤩
Thank you so much this was really helpful I have exams coming up and you just explained everything in 4 mins great job honestly 👏
Anyone here cuz of online school?

Very straightforward, thank you.
This video made me understand a lot of things in just 4 minutes thank you
That's the aim! Thanks Mejiyo 😊
this is a very clear explanation. thanks
this man teaches a 50 page chapter in 4 mins tysm bro
U can turn water into a gas without separating it into its main componites or turning into something else
Revision for mocks ty
Wow I love the explaination, quiet easy to understand
Is it intermolecular forces that keep the particles together in solids and liquids?
i watched this at school lmao
Haha that’s good to hear! We hoped teacher might show them - hope it went down well 😅

To be honest! This made me understand this so much quicker! Thanks Cognito!
Ah awesome, thanks Torxado!
I'm watching this full volume in class
these videos are really awesome
Thx for this video it’s so useful
Thank you for making this vid
It took my teacher 15 hours to explain this, meanwhile you explained it in 4 minutes. Several students fainted due to heatstroke and a lack of food or water in the classroom however the teacher insisted on not letting us out until she had taught us for 15 hours. One student had to be escorted to the hospital, thank you for this video.
I have a test tomorrow and am super nervous 😬
THIS HELPED A LOTTT
Thanks Mansi, glad we could help 😊
:)
How do liquids have a lower density than solids - water expands when it freezes into ice
Correct me if I am wrong but bonds are not broken during heating or cooling of substances. Attraction between particles are overcome. Great video though thanks!
yes but to make the particles to overcome is by heating " bonds between these atoms are broken down due to heat causing the attractions between the particles to overcome "
Great work. Going to show this to my physics class.
omg sir...
@@mcashta8758 ?
I was only taught like 4 States of matter
Btw the 'force of attraction' can also be called as the intermolecular force.
amazing explanation! thanks
Thank u soo much😄
This helped a lot!❤
Glad it helped! 😊
Bro, Thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much, you are truly a life saver
thank you for the video
Hey cognito! Sorry my son was watching this on my youtube account. Is it ok if I use this for my grade 7 students?

Nice dude explained teachers every 1 hour lecture in 4 min
What happens when solid matter is crushed, smashed, grinded or broken in pieces? How can we explain it using particulate nature of matter?
Thank u science dude u rock all dat in 4 minutes man#geneous
thankyou for this
it helped alot
Glad it was useful 👍
You are a live saver,I have a quiz tomorrow

Really good
kinetic particle theory in physics is the same as kinetic particle model in chemistry????
loved the vid!!!!!!!!!!!
thankyou
Very understandable
What about plasma
isnt plasma a matter too? heard something about that once , so can someone clarify pls
I think it is just search it up if ur not sure but I’m pretty sure I heard it too once
When is the best time to start revising for the science exam? Correct, 30 minutes before it)
what about solids directly changing into gas?
this was so helpful!!
