Q1: because, the holes make it easy for us to compress it
Q2: solid because sugar is in the smaller form and where it can flow
Q3: plasma and BECs
Q1. Because of the holes in it, the air content makes it possible to be compressed.
Q2. A sugar is a solid but it is able to flow because, the particles are separated or spread out.
Q3. Plasma
Bose - Einstein condensate.
Answer 1. sponge is a also called as a porous solid. sponge has very small holes in which air is trapped when we will press it the air is goin out of it and we are able to compress it. A sponge can be compressed easily but still we count them in solids because they have very small pores in it which are filled with air.
Answer 2. No matter to do with the size of the container in comparison to the sugar crystals. If you take any solid object and put it inside a large container, it will appear to take the form of the container. But if we check very closely, the individual crystals are having the same shape which is not changed and in fact, have lots of space between them.
Answer 3. There are 3 main states of matter solid , liquid and gas and other than this we have two more states of matter called by the names 1: Plasma and 2 : Bose - Einstein.
There 2 kinds of condensates the fermionic condensates and boss einstein condensates
Thanks
Good bro
ans
1]sponge has tiny holes through which air goes in and air can be compressed.
2]sugar is solid but takes the shape of beaker.
3]plasma and BEC.
1ans)- because it has holes we are compressing the air of the sponge...
2ans)-sugar is solid...
3ans)-condensate and plasma are two more states of matter
Q1 AnsSponge is compressible because it is having minute pores in which air is trapped . on presssing the air is expelled. it is still considered as a solidbecause it has a definite volume and shape does not changes unlessscompressed
Sugar are also solids
Because they rigid not compressiable ,fixed shape but not fixed volume
Answers to the questions in the end
1. The sponge has holes, as you said so the air between these holes is what is actually being compressed, and gas can be easily compressed!\
2.the sugar grains are very small, so when you pour them the look like a liquid or a gas is being poured
3. The other 2 states of matter are plasma and man made Bose Einstein condensates..... as we have learnt in class
Sir you make physics, chemistry and maths so easy
Keep watching
You say right

2.) Sugar is a solid, 3.) plasma and Bose-Einstein Condensate, 1.) The sponge is compressible because it is having minute pores in which air is trapped. on pressing the air is expelled. it is still considered as a solid because it has a definite volume and shape does not changes unlesss-compressed.
1.The sponges contains tiny pores on them which traps the air so while we are compressing we are just compressing the air and the air is forced to pushed out
2.The sugar has definite shape and mass whereas the liquid has definite volume but does not have a fixed shape solids have definite shape and hence sugar is a solid
3. Bose-Einstein condensates (BEC)
1. Sponge is a solid. But, we are compressing the holes. And what exactly do we have in the holes? Well yes, we have air in the holes. Technically, we are compressing air.
2. If we take a single sugar, then we can see that it doesn't have liquid-like properties. It's just in the group.
3. 1. Plasma, 2. Bose-Einstien condenstate

Your teaching method is excellent sir.. keep going sir.

Yes
Yes
ANS.1 Sponge is not compressible. We are compressing the air.
Ans 2 . Sugar is solid. Every particular sugar is moving on its own. It is because of its small size that it seems flowing. It is not taking shape of the glass , just filling inside it.
Ans 3 pata nahi sir ji
What are the two more state s of matter?
Your explanation is like gas, it easily flows and fill the mind❤️❤️
Thank you so much 😀
Pick up lines for dummies
Sponge has tiny holes, the space of tiny holes is covered by air, and air can be easily comressible, so we are able to compress that also.
1. Air
2. Solid
3. plasma and Bose-Einsteins condensate.
Sugar is a solid
Sponge is compressible because it has air making to be compressible
Sir, you teach in a very interactive way. Thank you so much !
Ans 1. Sponge is porous i.e. air is trapped in the pores and so, when we compress it, we actually don't do it to the sponge(solid) but to the air(gas).
Ans 2. If it is about properties of sugar, then just take a sugar crystal as a subject here, if there would be a single sugar crystal, then we could have seen it having fixed shape and not flowing like fluid. Therefore, Sugar is solid
And 3. The other two states of matter:
(i). Plasma
(ii). Bose-Einstein Condensate
1. Sponge has small holes in which air is trapped, when it will be pressed the trapped air will move out and it will be compressed.
2.Sugar is a crystal solid.
3.There are 3 main states of matter
• SOLID
• LIQUID
• GAS
Two more are-
1.PLASMA & 2. BOSE-EINSTEIN
1,,,A sponge is a solid because it consists of small air pocket or voids within its structure. When pressure is applied, there pocket can collapse or decrease in size, allowing the sponge to be compressed.....2,,, sugar is a solid because it exists in a crystalline form at room temperature however under certain conditions such as high temperature or when dissolved in water, sugar can exhibit some fluid-like properties like flowing or pouring which might make it seem like a liquid.but fundamentally, its moleculor structure remains solid.....3,,, plasma and Bose Einstein Condensate (BEC),.... those are my answers for the 3 questions

Questions- 1: The sponge is compressible be cause it has holes so your compressing air
2: Sugar is a solid because you were showing lots of sugar and it has a fixed volume and shape.
3: The states of matter are Solid, Liquid, Gas, Plasma and Bose-Einstein Condensate.
Thank you science class and Manocha Academy.
Excellent !! All your answers are correct :)
1.We are not pressing solids as spounge because Spounge has air pores on it so we are pressing Air not Spounge as slids
2.Sugar is solid though it seems like liquids because it have small crystals
3.Other Two states are Bose Enstien Permanganate and Plasma
1) Although sponge is a solid I has many holes which helps to trap air.So mainly if we take a sponge 🧽 85% of it is made of air. Air is compressible. If so items which are made of air get the same property as a result the sponge is compressible.
2) Sugar at this condition is a solid although it can exist as a liquid too. Here the sugar take the shape of the container .(this is considered as a property of liquid not solid) So here it that general knowledge. When ever some thing is solid yet is very small we are able to insert it to a large item. In the same way here sugar is very very much small that we can fill a container using it as if we make building with building blocks.
3) Plasma and dark matter .
Q1 In spenge we usually compress the air. There is air filled through the holes. When we press a sponge the air comes out of these holes. That's why sponge being a solid can be compressible.
Thanks sir i understand very nice
Your explanation is wonderful
You're most welcome
Answers of top three questions-
1) sponge isn't compressible. The air inside it is compressible.
2)sir i have confusion in this one.
3) bose Einstein and plasma
Sir please solve my doubt in question 2🙂
1) Sponge 🧽 have holes 🕳 on it so when we are trying to compress it, we are actually compressing the air present inside it.
2) When a single cube of sugar is transferred to a container it does not show a characters of a liquid.
3) Two other states of matter are:
Plasma.
Bose-Einstein condensates. (Man-made)
For the second one, what if its a single water molecule? is a single water molecule a solid or liquid?
A sponge is solid because it is made from solid materials like synthetic polymers or cellulose, which form a porous but continuous structure. The pores allow it to absorb liquids without compromising its solid integrity. Thus, the material remains solid despite its porous nature.
1. Sponge can be compressible because the particles are hollow and the forces of attraction are weak. (I don’t know if it is correct)
2. Sugar is a solid because there are particles for each grain of sugar and they are solid which can be compressed and flow.
3. Plasma and bore-Einstein
Oh yeah true lol
Sir I know all three answers:
1. A sponge is compressible because it has holes in it which have air stored; so when we press them, the air gets compressed but not the sponge.
2. Sugar is a solid because even though it seems that it is a liquid, it is actually a solid and that's because each and every particle, when we pick it up and try to compress it, it does not change its shape or volume and remains incompressible.
3. The two other states of matter are Plasma and Bose-Einstein Condensates.
The questions were a piece of cake!
I too
1. Tiny holes of air in the sponge
2. Solid
3. Plasma and Bose Einstein Condensate
Q1. the holes make it seem like you're compressing the sponge but you're actually compressing the air
Q2. sugar is made up of different solids coming together to seem like one but it is just different particles of solid falling down 1 by 1 at a very high speed to make it seem like a fluid
Q3.plasma and electricity
You are so awesome! Thank you for making sense!!
Q1. A sponge is compressable even though it is a solid because it has tiny holes in it through which air enters so we are actually compressing the air inside the sponge. Q2. Sugar is a solid Q3. The other two states of matter are Plasma and Bose Einstein

1-Because of the air holes in the sponge which means that the sponge is filled with air. And the air makes. It compressible.
2- sugar is not a liquid
3- plasma & Bose-Einstein condensate
I love science subject so much
How do u design structures to represent the arrengements of different states of matter
Your teaching skills are amazing Sir please keep uploading videos your videos are the best

Who else looking coment box for cheaking their answer is correct or not 😁
1ans) because it has holes so we are compressing the air in it
2 ans) sugar is solid
3ans)condensate and plasma
1. Sponge is a solid but it has tiny holes in it in which air is trapped when we compress it the air inside the holes moves out that's why we are able to compress it.
2. Sugar is a solid if we we talk about each individual sugar, 1 grain of sugar it has fixed shape and volume, it is rigid and incompressible and whether we put it in a small jar or a big one or in plate it doesn't fill any of the container in which it is kept that's why it is a solid as it shows the properties of solid state
3. Plasma and einstein condensate
U are hot,I like your answerable this questions..
Any malayalizzzz🤩
1. sponge is compressible being a solid because of the presence of ... Liquids are non-compressible and have constant volume but can change shape
2. sugar is non as solid
3. the two types of state of matter are. plasma an bose_einstein
Q3 Ans Solid, liquid, gas, plasma, and Bose-Einstein condensate are the five states of matter.
Very nice explanation as I am perhaps clear with one of the question which I was facing since long.
Q1 ans:The holes in sponge have air in them so we are compressing air in holes and not sponge..
Q2 ans: Sugar crystal as an indivisual has all properties of solid but when it is in large numbers it seems to show properties of liquids.
Q3 ans: Plasma and bose-einstien condansate are 2 other types of matter.
Hope my answers are correct ..
thanks for the amazing explaination..On solid, liquid and gases..
Thank you I got the same answers :)
1. Sponge has wholes in which air can go throgh making the sponge compress
2. Sugar is a solid not a liquid, but it may seem as a liquid but cant float.
3. Plasma and Degenerate matter
A very good practical lesson indeed. Keep it up
I really loved the lesson.
Well understood.
It's a thumbs up
You are the best you dont deserve 360k and deserve 360million
Thanks
1 it is compressible because of the air consist in it
2 sugar is solid
3 plasma and Bose enstiencondensation
Thank you so much sir. Ur videos are really so much helpful. Tomorrow is my test.
You are doing great work sir pursuing your passion. Many may not realize the cascading effects of solid foundations. I hope GOI recognizes your work. You can also try exploring likeholding workshops for schools
1) A sponge has tiny holes in it, which has air trapped inside of it. So when we compress it, we are not compressing the sponge, but the air inside of it.
2) The shape of a single grain of sugar remains the same, whether we put it in a jar or a glass. And thus, sugar is a solid.
3) the other two states of matter are Plama and Bose Einstein condensate. Plasma is basically particles in the form of Ionized gases. Fluorescent tubes and bulbs contain plasma. In BEC, we cool gas at a low density to very low temperature
Best explanation i've seen until now ! Thank you !!!
Awesome, thank you!
sir liquieds can fill the coantainer completly you can also pour the water completly in the glass ???
Ans -1 soilds cannot be Compressible but sponge can be Compressible because it has holes in it and the air is present inside the hole so we are compressing the air inside the sponge not the sponge
1)-The sponge is compressible being a solid because of the presence of air cavities inside the sponge.
2)-liquid....sugar is considered as a liquid...because it is disolve in water...after disolving in the water....water become sweet...
3)- Plasma, Bose Einstein condensate .
Sugar is the liquid?
It's a method (actually, the method) of adding more liquid to the mix without getting a tough, chewy cake. It is for this reason that sugar is considered a "wet ingredient" - because the process only works properly if you add it with the water, not with the other dry ingredients.
Thank you for the great video! 5B :)
My pleasure!
Yesss
What's 5B?
@@homeyt847 it's an grade

Answers to the top three questions:
i) Sponges have many holes in them, which are filled with air (gas), thus when we compress the sponge, the air present inside the holes is being compressed and not the sponge. Like when we crush an empty plastic bottle (filled with air), we actually crush or compress the air inside it.
ii) Sugar itself is made from small sugar cubes. So when sugar is poured into another container from one container, the sugar-containing sugar cubes flow. The shape of the sugar particles doesn't change, but when sugar is poured into the container it takes the shape of the container. Thus we can say that sugar is a solid and not a liquid as sugar cubes don't change their shape and they flow if we apply an external force. If they are kept still in any place, they will not flow unless they are forced to do so.
iii) The other two forms of matter are:
a) Plasma= Occurs at very high temperatures when gases have positive ions and free electrons.
b) Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC)
Btw... It was a nice video sir, I got my concept cleared. Thanks a lot for making this video :D

once again indian man saves the day
Q1:sponge is a solid, but why is it compressible?(ANSWER) because they have tiny pores or holes in them occupied with air particles, when we press sponge the air particles expelled out from pores making it highly compressible.
Q2:sugar seems to show properties of a liquid.is sugar is a solid or a liquid?sugar is clearly a solid.its not damp,it deosn't magically turn in to a liquid form at baking temperatures or anything weird like that.
Q3:what are the other two states of matter?there are two states of matter that we need to mention
Plasma-99% of all universed
Is made up of plasma.
When matters occurs at extremely high temperature, like those foundon the sun or other stars,it exists as plasma.
.
ANS.1 The sponge is compressible being a solid because of the presence of air cavities inside the sponge.
ANS.2 sugar particles are solid and do not take the shape of a container but since the particles are of very small size which makes them difficult to distinguish from one another if consider in a large number, so as a whole they take the form/shape of a container.
ANS. : The seven states of matter are, Liquids, Gases, Ionized Plasma, Quark-Gluon Plasma, Bose-Einstein Condensate and Fermionic Condensate. Solid Definition - Chemistry Glossary Definition of Solid.
Point to be noted there are not 5 but 7 states of matter
Amazing Explanation Sir. Really easy to understand with your explanation.
q 1- sponge has holes in it so actually we are compressing the gas which holes contain in it.
q2- solid
q3- the other two states of matter are bose einstien condensate (BEC) and plasma😀😀
1.Its has tiny particles in which the air can exist and release. 2.A sugar is a solid thus ,the container is big it takes it shape. Sir can you tell answer of question NO.3
Ans.1 Sponge is a solid, but it is compressible because of the presence of air cavities.
Ans.2 Because it is disolve in water after after disolving in the water.
Ans.3 solid, liquid, gases and plasma.
Thank you for your wonderful explanation sir 😊
Good day sir,I would like to answer the questions:
Question 1 answer is:
The sponge is compressible because of the amount of air inside it,due to the sponge having holes, the holes are thereby letting air pass through it and since air has no fixed volume, and when you compress the sponge the air leaves and comes back in, therefore allowing the sponge to be compressed.
Q1.This is because there is air inside the holes in the sponge.
Q2.Sugar is solid. But it flows due to being small crystals
Q3.The other two states of matter are Plasma and Bose-Einstein Condensate(BEC).
Viewing yur concepts and loving physics to the core! Great works sir
Thanks for liking
I like how you explain everything and how you do experiments in the vid.
wow you are the best teacher
question 1 - We are actually compressing the air in the sponge,
question 2 - it is just a solid because it does not have all the properties of water that it should be
question 3 - the two more states are Plasma and Density

Answer for first question: sponge has holes in it ,so air is trapped in the holes of the sponge.
Answer 1- sponge is solid but it is compressible because it have minute pores in which air is trapped so when sponge is pressed the air is expelled..it is still considered as solid because it has a definite volume
2a solid
1. Sponge has large number of empty holes in it which contains air. So while compressing a sponge, we are compressing air which is a gas, as we know gases are compressible, hence true.
2. Powdered and granulated solids such as sugar or salt crystals might flow like liquids because they are small and slippery in size.
3. Other 2 states of matter are Plasma and Bose-Einstein Condensate.
Other possible forms of matter include
Fermionic Condensates and Quark-Gluon Plasma...
Wow sir very next level 🥳 video 😊
1: in the sponge is the air between their particles that you are compressing.
2: sugar are small Cristal and when you bring many of the individual Cristal together ,it takes the shape of what it have been kept to
3:plasma
Plasma is 4th state of matter
And 5th is Bose instine condensate
Q1: Because you are compressing the gas
Q2: Solid because sugar is a group of tiny solids
Q3: Plasma and bose-einsteinium condensate or BEC
i was going to say the same bro...tiny solids we called it powdered solids
@@bigheese2961 😎🤓
I agree
You made me understand the three states of matter. Thanks A LOT. 😊😊😊😊😊
1- Because sponge has holes in it the air pass thorough it so you are actually compressing the gas.
2-Sugar is solid but it is because of the surface area.
3-Plasma and Bose-Einsten condensate.

Plz can you answer in which state bottle is. If solid then it's is also hollow is inside and The property of solid tell that they are packed with each other
Do you know that a sphere is a solid though it is hollow inside so a bottle is also a solid
Pranav, The paricles of solid are packes with eack other tightly. So, The molecules inside the plastic bottle i. e. molecules of plastics are packed with each other. So, ThTs why its a solid. Ok??
If u got it thN like and not thN you can ask ur query replying me.
Q1(ans) because we compress air in the sponge.
Q2(ans) sugar is solid.
Q3(ans) Plasma and Bose-Einstein Condensate .
It's ok 😊
Ans 1- because it has sponges in which air is stored and you are indirectly compressing air
Ans 2- sugar is solid , sugar takes the shape of container because it's size of one grain of sugar is very less
Ans 3- Two other types are plasma and BEC
Q1) A spong can be compressed easily because the air that fills their tiny 'air pocket' escapes causing them to change the shape.
The sponge can be compressed because it has air in the holes.
Sugar is a solid, it looks like it flows because there are multiple grains of sugar with air between them.
Plasma is another state of matter but we don't know the other one. Please tell us!
Ans:1. Sponges have holes in them which carry in them. We are not compressing the sponge actually we are compressing the air in it.
When you speak or explain in English in the videos then we also get motivation to speak English like you Thanks a lot... 👍
