Genius is not measured by your level of focus on singular tasks.
Intelligence is the ability to remember, use and learn knew things to a higher degree than average, nothing else effects it adhd or autism might make it difficult tho but they have some benefits to help aswell

Everyone has a lupula (that cresent shape on your nails) and i know several idiots with a lupula. Although, i lack a lupula and have a 4.0 GPA. So i think it's actually the other way around.

Keep your eyes a little bit closed so that the words become blurry while the colors remain as puddles.
Since the human eye is often attracted
to contrast this method will decrease that
focus point.
You can notice this especially when you try
this method on the yellow areas since we
tend to experience yellow as brighter, one
reason why these areas tend to blend more
with the white background.

Urgh... it's perception not intelligence. Although, perception has some sort of intelligence to it; perception is one way of learning/ gathering information or perceiving a problem or an object by observing it. Intelligence is understanding and making use of the information gathered.
Besides, I'm sure not even intelligent people would see these illusions as they really are. They probably know what they really are, but can't adjust their sight to see the illusions as they are. Intelligent people are still human.

because perception as you call it, is an outcome of intelligence, final product, not the beginning of the whole process. It doesn't matter what information come to your brain, it matters what a brain do with it, and what outcome it gives in the shape of your thoughts and feelings. That's perception. Most examples in this video refer to visual intelligence, and yes, this is intelligence. The same as mathematical inteligence, musical inteligence, sport intelligence, etc etc., there is even so called emotional intelligence if u have high empathy and can go well with people. To give u a very simple example, when mathematical genius sees a complicated code, for him its all understandable and easy, but on the same time for a musician genius, it will be a total mess and random digits without any meaning. But switch math code with a symphony sound, and they change their position, mathematical genius becomes total average man, while musian genius 'sees' the music and feels it in a way that no other person can perceive it. So both see/hear exactly the same things before their brains calculate them, but on the same time, they have different perspective on those things, because their brains have different intelligence. Same goes for the examples in this video, for ppl with high 3d and eye intelligence, its very easy to catch all the details, they dont even have to think about it, they just see it imidiately in a split second, while for ppl with mediocre/bad intelligence of this type, they can watch it for 20 minutes and still not see. Think about intelligence as of a talent to do something, and this talent means how a person perceives a problem. Yes, you can differentiate both terms, but not like u suggested, that perception goes before intelligence, its exactly the opposite, which I hope described well enough with math-music example. Anwyay, it's not a big factor by any means, I only wanted to point out, that ppl usually think about intelligence in terms of mathematical intelligence, which is maybe 5% of possibilites, and noone should downgrade other kind of intelligence, they are all equally important for our race to thrive and develope.
It's hardly fair to redefine words to protect people's self-esteem or whatever you're doing. If you'd do them justice then you'd call them "knowledgeable", "skilled" or "talented" at what they're good at. That is my opinion. I also checked and there have been no changes in the online dictionary when it comes to the words perception and intelligence.
In any case, I was just wondering what you'd say if I asked.
These are all questions about if people can spot things in pictures. Not the first thing that comes to mind when trying to find a genius.

We can identify many things, but simply identifying and knowing where things are and discovering "epiphinic odds on placement" for instance (wow, I am terrible at naming things), doesn't build knowledge. Sure, it can definitely take a roll on making you feel satisfied by doing these types of video activities through participation, but as I mentioned; optical illusions are not necessary to build intelligence.

this really has to do with being observant, which is actually related to personality more than intelligence. It got all the problems right, but I've taken a personality test which confirms that I am observant. I wouldn't trust some random guy with bad grammar to tell me whether or not I'm a genius.
