I've said it once, I'll say it again, Cognito is the BEST at explaining! I literally look forward to writing my science notes cuz it means I'll be able to watch your videos and have you explain the concepts to me. Thank you so much!
@@gazey notes condense what textbooks and videos teach in a condensed form. My notes make the most sense to me, but probably not much sense to anyone else. Also sometimes, what videos/text teach is just meant as a supplement to your actual teachers lessons. I’m homeschooled so I use a variety of sources and then my notes summarize and condense everything I’ve learned!
@@cherrybombb2306 Notes are just another method of learning. Like all other methods, it works for different ppl. Personally I never take notes, but rather just scribble random stuff onto the textbook like mnemonics or other ways to help me remember things 😅

This is exactly what I need. I was having a hard time understanding how beta particles work but this video explained it so easily and simply. Thank you!
I think my school will fire my core subjects teachers and hire Cognito's videos, that too all for free, cuz thats just how good he explains the concept. You for sure got a new subscriber! Thanks a lot! :)

Most of us cant even click a button to support all his work. Keep the Good work up Sir. Your changing lives out here. Big up.
I have pretty much watched most of your GCSE science videos for my mocks, and I got 9-9 (from a 6-6 in normal tests) because of them so thank you and keep up these really good videos :)
I have my physics exam tomorrow and my teacher doesn't go through anything on it! So this helps me a lot!! :)) I love your videos they're so easy to remember and very informative! You also helped me immensely on my math non-calc test tysm!
I am trying really hard to get nines in all of my subjects as my teachers decided to predict me all A* in my GCSEs, but I do not get a lot of subjects. So, in my spare time, I am now studying the topics that I did in lesson, to get a better understanding of it. I love the equations side to it ( I LOVE maths (non-sarcastically)) but I just want to get better at the theory. Personally I do not like free science lessons as much, and when I found you lessons I was in love with the teaching style! My biology teacher set us some of your videos to watch as homework and they were so easy. Now when it comes to revising sciences, I only watch your ones, as they can be understood really easily!! Thank you!!
As an adult in their 30s watching this who didntnreallynget physics at school i can see the reoccuring themes that a lot of people commenting also dont get it and it makes me sad because i think my dyslexic brain would have actually liked physics if they taught it more like this... oh well the education system is broken but at least the internet is here to suppliment it! 😅thanks for this video i will keep watching maybe i will be a Physicist one day 😊
This makes a lot of sense. I always thought gamma, alpha, and beta “particles” were something new, but they are just a classification of things I already understood. I may not understand how these things happen but i can imagine how they might. I think the decay of the neutron was the most interesting part as i was not aware a neutron could become something different and spit out an electron like that.
I did not learn Physics back in high school so I'm having a bit of a hard time in University trying to study Introductory Physics. This video was extremely helpful. Thank you very much for this!!
Very concise and clear. The beta particle obviously has a wave component you haven’t mentioned. A movingly particle creates a wave at some frequency which is dependent on its velocity through that medium. This can be observed in a Wilson cloud chamber
You have given examples of what will stop alpha, beta and gamma rays. can you please given example of what will stop a neutron so it will help to understand it's power comparatively
Wishing all the luck in the world to this wonderful channel with Beautiful animations and Amazing explanations ❤️❤️ Love to the channel for making me a topper in Physics 💕✨️

The more I go to school and reflect on how much money I spend and how much time is required sitting ina classroom in order to get a degree and end up on RUclips before every exam reading the same comments over over from lost students thankful to have found helpful videos (like this) who simplify concepts, the more I confirm what a racket to the whole system is! I'm forced to sit in a classroom for hours, or the equivalent, to have someone that is being paid by the school to take all that time to teach what I can learn on RUclips in 10 mins. It's amazing. See how the system traps people?? No way to make money if you don't require X amount of hours of didactic learning in order to get that coveted degree that you have to have. You want the magic piece of paper? It'll cost ya!
Hey thanks so much for the comment (they really help the vids get seen) - and really happy to hear you found it useful! Good luck with all your work! 🥳
but to stabilize ,the neucleus dosent just throw out a neutron no? it changes one of its neutrons in a proton and emits a positron by positive alpha decay if nessesairy in a situation of 8 neutrons and 6 protons
