This pedal popped up on my feed to day and it has my attention. I dig just a smidge of always on grit and I love how this one sounds. And that bass tone... So killer. I love your stuff. Now to go hear part 2!

    Some effect. 3:20
    More effect. 7:37
    Lots of effect. 4:40
Great video . An edited ,A/B switch , to compare the differences more closely would have made it an even better video .
    Thanks!

Question for you, if I send my signal out to the front of house, why would I want to send a signal from the quarter inch jack to pedals? Isn't it kind of late to send the signal to pedals if it was already sent to front of house and is coming out of the speakers?????

It’s assumed that the finally would be the last in your chain, thus sending the fully modified signal to FOH. If you wanted to get the grit earlier in the chain something like the accelerator would be way better.

I never understood why some like to hear their tone different from what the audiences is hearing via FOH. If I'm using my amp, it's because my signal is not going to FOH. Thus, it's a smaller venue.

IME, playing in an original hard-ish rock power trio, the tone i have dialed on stage to make sure I can hear myself is not what works well to FOH. I tend to roll off bass, boost mids, and roll off treble. Also, having listened back to live recordings of my band off my amp's DI, I run more gain than necessary for my stage sound to help get the punch I like
I will always have my amp on stage so I have real time control over what I am hearing, but am working on a rig with a Preamp/DI (Like maybe the Venus?) that let's me send a cleaner flatter EQ'ed signal to the desk, and already have a finally FIRST in chain, so on gigs we are recording, i can get a great capture of just my bass and add any amps/effects/etc. in the post mix.
