Right? Last year I knew 100% we would lose I didn't even want to watch it (I did and regretted it instantly) This year got a new vibe...we taking it all this time you watch
@@Dcnj26I have to admit I had a tiny sliver of hope about them turning it around last year heading into the playoffs, but that was quickly dashed once the game started. Yikes what an ugly loss that was.
It was physically sickening to NOT want an Eagles playoff game to begin. And when it did, it just felt so wrong. Last year was a goddamn horror movie. To be where we are now a year later, with this group - Saquon the force of nature, and the #1 defense - i would've never believed this was possible.
It’s not often I hear the media actually praise Jalen for the amazing job. He’s done this year. Far too often I hear criticisms of the past, even all the way back to college! I literally heard someone on ESPN bringing up the Alabama game where Tua took over as a blotch against Jalen’s reliability…a few weeks ago!! But if you look at this team‘s record, and his stats, his performance is elite! He ranks well within the top 10…and that’s being modest. Ironically, all I heard before the concussion was how he couldn’t throw the ball and how he’s holding the team back. Once he was missing games, all I heard was how important he is to this team and how they can’t win unless he’s playing. My consensus is, it doesn’t matter what the Eagles do, the media always has a problem with it. The same goes forSirianni... Let’s just ignore that he has one of the best records of all active coaches. 🤦🏻♂️ It doesn’t matter what these guys do, they don’t get the credit they deserve. I really want the Eagles to just whip everyone’s ass and make the media eat their own words. 😂😂
A friend of mine is a casino dealer at the Borgata in AC and she couldn't stand Jason Peters as she said he was always arrogant and rude. On the other hand, she loved Fletcher Cox because he was always friendly and called her by name when he approached her table.
23:43 Some revisionist history going on here. I remember after the 2016 season Kelce had a really bad year, was getting pushed around, and just looked bad. He has even admitted that he stopped focusing on the fundamentals and it hurts his play that year. Man I talked mad trash about Kelce after that 2016 season, and then he stepped his game up to the HOF we know and love and I've been happily dinning on that crow ever since. Oh, that SB speech will never be topped. EPIC! GO BIRDS!
I like the signing of Cine, a lot actually. He'll be a fan favorite by this time next year. If we pair him & CJGJ at safety, opposing receivers will refuse to go anywhere near the middle. I doubt he'll play much these next few weeks, but we'll see. I think this is gonna be an amazing ride. There's something special that's been brewing with this group, and it's okay to admit it. I'm 45, following this team very intensely for the last 39....this group has something to it, and it's better than talent - which they collectively have more than anyone - they play together and there's a love for one another and a belief in one another. There's no more significant factor you can have in the NFL playoffs. There's a reason they remind you of the 2017 Eagles. The ones who remain - BG, Lane, & Jake. Buckle up, this is gonna be insane.
The Jalen story is getting old! You would think straight journalists would note that the last step of the concussion protocol is to practice and be evaluated the next day (today). Eagles rested all of their starters last week, they did not practice because they weren't playing. Wednesday was their first practice for Jalen to participate in.
Hey, if that's the only story our team is producing I'm happy with them repeating themselves. Means there's no drama or serious injuries to worry about.
@@becomingnursechyna Yes I know they are! But the whole Jalen storyline is factually not a story! Philly didn't rush him back to practice last week so he could clear the protocol because he was never going to play in the game and Tanner needed the reps.
People can say whatever tf they want about Nick....all I know is he's gonna have them guys ready to go on Sunday. Jalen is about to light it up he's gonna make sure we win regardless if he's passing or we're running we gonna get the W...Packers walking into a buzz saw you watch
The ‘22 defensive front may have been better, but due to the field conditions of the Super Bowl, they were pretty much useless. Our defense this year is the #1 defense even without a dominant front, so hopefully field conditions wouldn’t play as much of a factor, if it came to that.
I’m really surprised the defenses were close for them. I never trusted the defense in 22. It was always hoping Reddick gets lucky and gets home at the right time. Vic lost Washington, but he owned it. I trust this defense to get a stop way more than in 22. To be fair, Saquan doing his things to the Steelers is our best defense, and another reason this team is better. Miles was unreliable while banged up, and he was always banged up. Saquan will Lane Johnson that shit and play at an all pro level with a torn abductor. (One of the most legitimately badass things I’ve ever seen)
A lot of people doing analysis on Green Bay is forgetting about Bo Melton as a deep threat besides Watson. Marcus Epps was clutch and I hated to see him go. I think Maddox was and still is the weakest link from 22 to 24 tbf I like Maddox but he's regressed. Nobody has been as good as Patrick Robinson was until Cooper Dejean in the nickel. My big question is what do you do about Bryce Huff's disappointing season? I like Mike Green in the 1st round as a Edge Rusher and Jah Joyner in the late rounds as a true Defensive End. I think they need to keep complimentary pieces prototypical to Josh Sweat and Nolan Smith. Jaylx Hunt is very similar to Nolan Smith in that regard but Huff is the odd guy at the moment!
Bo Melton and his younger brother Max played at Cedar Creek HS in Egg Harbor City....saw both of them play a number of times during their high school careers.
Didn't Jalen go for his longest rush of his career this year? I think once he's back to 100% we're gonna see his legs get going this post season. I'd also like to see Jahan get some targets, we haven't used him but he looked really good week 18.
The pass rush in 22 was circumstantial. Played with a lead all year against shitty teams and shitty olines. How many sacks collectively against wentz? Friggin 15? I’m curious how many drop backs quarterbacks had in 22 compared to this year how many opportunities did 22 have to get the quarterback?
They find ways to criticize jalen, bringing up the first four games without mentioning that jalen and a lot of starters didn't play in the preseason. This means that the first few games was the preseason for the starters. Also, other starting QBs, who didn't play in the preseason, didnt look their best at the beginning of the season. I.e. lamar, Pat, burrow etc.
If Jake do the kickoffs he’ll be fine I really don’t understand why we stopped letting him do kickoffs this year the one game after week one when he had kickoff duties he was great what’s up with him not kicking off they can say it has nothing to do with it but it OBVIOUSLY DOES
That shyt grinds my gears. For all of that “under center play action” talk we only scored 20pts and the game went down to the 4th qtr. When Jalen had the game over by the 3rd qtr. when we played the Giants the first time.
Over these days Jalen has missed if I were him my whole thing would have been on my down time I’m watching every offensive play on all 22 and I’m documenting every mishap I see I made or another made and I’m bringing it to the coaches and we’re correcting whatever we can….the slow start doesn’t bother me we can’t harp on what we do in one quarter the other 3 quarters we dominate so it’s not a question….my thoughts on the game we will win I don’t see how GB can keep up were bringing all 22 starters BG not here but coop wasn’t in for the first one and reed got off on us so I think we got this in the bag easily not goin lie it’s not cockiness it’s confidence…this team weapons are rested the defense is rested we’ve dominated since the bye week and this is another week off a so called bye……Nick got hell all season but he’s needs praise for how he’s kept this team ready and focused all year despite the little media sparks we got this this could really be a special year for this team enough said GO BIRDS 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃

Hurts is easily the most underrated player in the league. Nick is 100% on point when he says that “he is a winner”

here's to hoping Reed Blankenship continues his habit of picking off Packer's qb's

This years team is certainly deeper especially on the O line, QB room, RB, CB, LB

Super Bowl
I played against flipper in High school😅
How can kellen leave if he is under a contract?
The other team probably would have to buy out his contract from the Eagles.
I wish you two fellows would stop interrupting those digressions and tangents with all this football talk😏😆
Roob a round ball is called basketball. take those meds buddy!
First!
No one cares. Grow up.
Re; Jalen being uncooperative: You guys know that in Alabama they call your work rat poison, right?
I think LaFleur , Shanahan, McVay struggle with game management because they’re calling plays.

Davonta Smith is a better blocker than Calcatera and Davonta weighs like 9 grams.

Some of these questions are so arrogant as to suggest they know exactly what plays are called and what Jalen likes. It laughable.
