I doed NM100S on my channel for Doom, Sigil and Doom II some time ago. This Decino series made want to do this with 100% items too. On some maps it looks that really icreases the difficulty.
It's so cool that even after playing and completing the most insane maps in the community, the vanilla experience can still be a real challenge. Doom is truly the greatest.

It's amazing to see how challenging doom becomes in Nightmare just by the simple fact that the enemies are fast and have a chance to respawn. It's always fun to watch a round of deaths especially seeing some mistakes we make and then it's hard for us to believe they happen or those moments when unusual things happen Very good videos on Nightmare, waiting for more decino and for the next round of videos!

Its amazing the differences between the pc version and the Doom 3 BFG Xbox 360 version. Don't have turbo pinkies but the meatballs spew lost souls out like machine guns. It doesn't have the kills, items, or secret counter either. It seems to me the respawn time is shorter on xbl too. Made it to #19 on the xbl leaderboards on Doom 2 with a nightmare run. Not bad for being 51 years old. I still have hell of earth maps to complete now. Big thanks for the tips and routing!

You know Nightmare! is a deal when your uncle actually dies playing Ultimate Doom, whereas if he was playing UV-fast probably wouldn't have died at all.
I love the "Nightmare" (Damn I'm Good) mode in Duke Nukem 3D. Because you are able to permanently kill a enemy if he is gibbed. You can also gib the corpses. So you can play to use any explosives as stratetic as possible, gibbing as many enemies as possible. It creates a whole new gameplay scenario.
at 7:00 you could hear the genuine panic in his tone lmfao "Okay I'll grab it later-" Has the "I DON'T NEED IT- I NEED IT" vibe from Markiplier playing Pac War
Decino being a true master with all this outtakes. I know that finishing a challenging map after a few tries is a great feeling. From this gameplay I learn to fear the pinkies and to scratch my nose before challenge Nightmare mode.
Dude, such patience and determination, I'd have given up in the third death. I'm not a very good Doom player, I play it more casually, UV is already impossible for me, imagine this. There's only one way I'm beating Doom in Nightmare, and that's with the --no-monsters flag set, LOL!

Nightmare really is a veteran ONLY difficulty. This is the one game I totally understand if people rage quit or just straight up say that this is too hard to be enjoyable sometimes.
I still think the harder the difficulty you use, the stronger you will become at the game overall. Nobody likes dying a hundred times on nightmare, because you will die with how hardcore and tricky it is, but the experience could keep you from dying at all when you decide to play UV later on 🙂
I remember attempting E1M8 on nightmare, still haven't beaten it, but I ended up running through the explosions at the right time so the pinkies would follow me and die, but also where I would take no damage. Idk how i achieved this, but it was awesome
Im pretty impressed that in none of your outtakes (not just here, all of them) you never find yourself talking in Dutch (or Spanish?), when i swear in such cases, automatically my mother tongue comes out, even if I'm fully talking in English.
