Weird advice but my post partum self wishes someone would have told me this: take stuff out of boxes even if you think you won’t use it right away. When you’ve slept 5 hours over 4 days you’ll be thankful.

Room looks gorgeous and so do you! Every baby is so different... my son didn’t stain anything with spit-up, he just didn’t do it much! A few poopy blowouts on clothes haha. Now at 20 months is when he’s staining with food, dirt etc etc hahah. Good call on dresser rather than changing table and diaper genie too👌🏻CONGRATS! You sound super prepared 💕
thank you so so much!! I totally forgot to mention that this dresser comes with a changing table add-on option if anyone is interested, but the keekaroo ended up being a cheaper option + I didn't have to put holes into the dresser!
Sun bleaching has been a game changer for me for any kind of baby stains!

Brittany if you use dawn fish soap on the white burp cloths I did and it got all the stains out and makes your white look so much whiter and bright. She add some when you wash them with your usually laundry soap and you'll be so surprised. It also won't mess with your baby skin even if they have sensitive skin. I love your nursery.

Just a little side note for anyone looking at cribs: Ikea cribs are also convertible for much more affordable prices. Also, I know I'm late, but I love the nursery!
Beautiful nursery, 1 thought was that fur carpet might be nicer pulled out from dresser so the baby can lay then later play on it. Just 1 little tweak. Lucky baby to come home to that sweet nursery.
Those little rugs are a pain. I always need a piece of furniture to anchor them. That or really good anti skid mat

My Boppy was the most used item! ❤️ I LOVE my Boppy! Best invention ever lol. Made nursing so so much easier 👍 and comfortable.
Yay!! I hope I love it too! Did you end up using it for tummy time and lounging too? I saw there were so many uses for it, but I only ever hear people talking about breastfeeding with it! 💕
@@brittanybalyn yup! Tummy time, lounging. Even when she started to sit up on her own, I would use it as support and it's nice too just in case they loose their balance lol. She'll even use it now as a pillow when she lays on the floor and watches her cartoons 😂
I will say though that I didn't really use it for tummy time till she was about 3-4 months though because before that babies aren't usually holding their heads up yet lol. But other than that, I used it pretty much every stage of the baby ages 👍 it's very useful!
Also the best pacifiers are the Bibs ones. The absolute best

@@brittanybalyn Empty it when it gets about three-quarters of the way full! Also be sure to clean it out with Clorox wipes so the smell doesn't linger inside of the actual genie. I also cleaned mine out with bleach every two weeks 🌸

I have no idea how anyone can side against the diaper Geenie for practicality- we have used ours since birth and our daughter will be 2 this December! I couldn’t just throw a dirty diaper into our kitchen trash can- the smell! We have ours set up right next to the changing table (which we also use for every single diaper change- we don’t do changes on the beds or floors- again to eliminate odors and messes on those areas where bodily fluids aren’t meant to be! Ha!) I had people tell me it was a waste of money and got one gifted and I am SO glad we have had it! Must have baby item!!!

Girl I’m literally over it!! LOL I UNDERSTAND WHEN YOU SAY IM OUT OF BREATHE,swollen and tired😭😭😭 just wait later in the weeks dude😂😩 you’ll be more exhausted and swollen. My feet are donuts right now and feel heavy LOL I stay living in oversized band shirts and pj bottoms😂🤍 rest as much as you can and drink loads of water🥰. CANT WAIT FOR YOUR BABY GIRL TO COME!💖 time really does fly trust me😖😖 and btw your pregnancy videos helped me prep for my postpartum and hospital bag so thank you so much!! ❤️❤️

Walmart has a pack of white drawer dividers and they are literally the ONLY ones I can find to fit in my more shallow drawers....I probably bought 8 different kinds, even attempted my own.
Also, I only buy white linens and cloths for my babies so I can bleach them! I use peroxide for colored baby laundry. Both are fine, just don’t add more than you should or soak in bleach 💕

I had a light color rocking chair in my daughters nursery for 2+ years, never had one stain on it! Now our light colored rug in there, that’s a different story lol.
