Thank you finally figured it out. Forever I couldn’t make purchases and I was trying 4 different cards I owned everything from MasterCard, Visa to debt card and would not work. I kept getting unknown error. I restored all my licenses went to purchase something in PlayStation store still same unknown error I go to try the add funds method and that actually worked. So thank you
How do you buy a game you previously rented? Ps5 thinks i own it. So the only option is download.

hello, I pre ordered cross gen Modern Warfare 2 on the PS4 but I installed game Beta on the PS5 now the original game page says its unavailable. Is it because I installed the Beta. Search through the sound in quick menu and make sure mute game voice chat is off

I've been having an issue with payments since February this is ridiculous. I have to go to the store buy a PS card and deposit the money in my wallet that way. I'd rather be able to make payments directly from my debit card.

I have the same problem but only when the game is over 40$ then it says my card has expired and it hasn't it makes no sense
I was able to purchase a dlc once couple of days ago but then i tried to purchase again it says my card is expired even though it's valid upto 07/27

If you want FIX this problem is only one easy step. Turn console off. Then hold start button till (5s) you see screen comes up. Connect controller and go to rebuild Data base and Dont rebuild Data base just click on clean Cashe and OK. Console restart themself and problem sorted

Turn off your PS5.
It should be fully turned off, not in Rest Mode.
Hold the power button on the PS5 until you hear a second beep.
The second beep will play after 5-7 seconds.
Connect your controller using the USB cable.
Press the PS Button on the controller.
Use the D-pad to navigate down to “5. Clear Cache and Rebuild Database” and select it.
Choose “1. Clear System Software Cache.”
Select “OK.”

I checked PSN status and apparently everything is up and running with no problems.....
There's clearly an issue with psn network because I tried to restore my license but a message came up stating the network is busy

This is such a bullshit joke.
I restored the licenses and then for the first time in 3 weeks I was able to buy 2 games.
30 minutes later it‘s back to the same bug and no restoring & adding/removing licenses is helping…

Restoring my licenses worked for me. I spent 3 hours trying to buy 2k24. I'm trying different cards. It was driving me crazy.
What worked for me, was going into my settings, then - system - systemsoftware - updates for systemfunction. just click on it, and if it says updates are available, then update it. I have seen countless solution videos but none of them worked for me. Only this one
