Did u have to tune it? I just bought a “23” low r s and bought an SPC lanesplitter ….should come in this week and was wondering if I will have to tune . Sounds good bro
@@jayloy5456 What’s up bro, so ideally speaking you should. In my opinion however, I don’t think you need to right away since that bikes come with a high flow air intake/ filter. And all you’re doing is an exhaust for now. It would be a must, if you’re doing a cam (stage 2) or an air intake and an exhaust. I would install it and see if the bike runs smooth/ clean. In the future look into a Dynojet tuner, it has an auto tune option too I think. Overall if I was you, I wouldn’t worry about it unless the bike doesn’t feel right after install. Not providing a recommendation, just my opinion! If you want a professional opinion, call Quantico Harley Davidson and ask for Arley at parts. He knows his sh**, and will be super transparent. More than likely he’ll say you don’t need a tune I think. Unless you’re doing more than just an exhaust.
I’ve spent thousands on stainless tig welded exhausts, Trask, Sawicki, they all sound the same, I always end up putting my Thunderheader back on, nothing comes close to that sound. Nice exhaust though 👍🏻
@@JakobKaizen well you get the sound and performance with the TH, just not the quality or looks. Usually it’s performance but sometimes I feel like a 2 to 2 with traditional sound.
Dude I was thinking about forward controls earlier today!! Which air cleaner are you running? I don’t think the stock high flow I have would work with forward controls. It’ll be an obstruction.. I was looking at air cleaners today for this, not sure what to go with..
Yea a tune is a must, went with Power Vision.. Got a Dyno tune done by local H-D dealer as well, wasn’t necessary I just did it because I had the option. Dyno would be a must with anything above stage 1, like cams etc..
This video is pre cam, I ended up installing Jim’s VTWIN 821 Max Cell Cam. The video below was taken after install. ruclips.net/video/54KF4z8Iz9o/видео.html
So I replaced these saddlebags because the quality really wasn’t there, what I use now are the Thrashin Expedition Saddlebags www.thrashinsupply.com/collections/bags/products/hard-mount-brackets-for-essential-escape-saddlebags They have multiple saddlebags you can use, I have the Expedition saddlebags. @@sohoh dude that S&S 475 cam is bad ass! Your bike is going to be sick!

Yea that’s what my sales guys at H-D said too! I need to check that out, thanks dude!
Just currious. If you are so happy with the tunderheader why would you take it off in thw first place?
@@josephdote8997 I like to experiment and try different exhausts. The TH are garbage in comparison to the material and craftsmanship.
What’s the biggest difference to you sound and performance wise regarding the Thunderheader?

Still got the mid controls on. Forwards on mine. Ride a long distance and youll know why

@@THELASTRID3Rif you get a low rise crash bar, you can use that as highway pegs. I have it on mine and it’s great. Let’s you keep your mid controls.
Keep the mids and install highway pegs

it’s Cam. M8’s don’t have 2 cams
@@toolmaker5150cool bro. I misspoke. So I originally didn’t hear the Cam he installed, hence I asked the question. Keep being a douche though.
How loud is it compared to a tbr shorty
Dude I really cant comment on the TBR, I've only heard it on videos. I don't think you can go wrong with either.
