Just some history of the red Francis fly that I dug up a while ago as to the origins of the fly , the Icelanders use a red francis, a black francis and a mixed red and black.

I have an original pattern for the Blue Charm unfortunately the signature was worn by age and was difficult to read as was the date which was 1835 or 1838, his namer was William. A bit more ornate than the known Blue Charm, LOL.
