I think I've wanted this kettle as long as I watched you. It calls to me every time I go the local outfitter that sells them here. I should have bought one way back when because the price just keeps going up. DOH!! Thank you for continuing to tease me, Kevin. LOL!!

I found one at the Goodwill outlet a few years ago ($0.59 lb so it was almost free) and I haven't used it much because I don't boil a lot. But I recently started dehydrating meals so it'll start getting more use. Which is good because it's a nice little pot/kettle.

Thanks for the review Kevin, I might try the MSR Titanium first, there's so many different ones out there, it's kind of daunting to figure out. I like my MSR Pocket Rocket stove too. Good to know the kettle will nest the fuel bottles too. Hail to the sacred bacon!

Hey. I’ve watched the majority of your videos. They’re great to watch but I haven’t found any about you!? I’ve got snippets of information from different videos. Perhaps you could do one about you, your background and perhaps a Q&A type thing? Have you completed the AT? How did you “train” to carry such large winter packs? Military? Family man? Your aspirations? Lots of stuff I’d love to know.

I've been wondering the same things for a while now as well!
Unfortunately that video will never happen. Kevin passed away on 1/8/20 from a severe heart attack in the evening. He had heart disease. If you watch his older videos and compare them to his newer videos he appears more tired. I knew Kevin and he was a great guy!

The one thumbs down, probably tried to fry the sacred bacon in a bamboo steamer... I have the knock off version of the pocket rocket, great little burners. The only titanium I have, is a spork, and the Evernew cross pot stand, the titanium cools off pretty quickly. Do you ever save the sacred grease for later use? I'm asking for a friend........

Quite possibly my step dad used to eat it a lot, he ended up with stomach and colon cancer in his early 50’s and didn’t last long after finding out.
