Having owned both there is zero comparison. The foretravel will depreciate like nothing you have ever seen. Newell is above all other manufacturers including liberty. Service, workmanship, value retention, active tag axle. Newell is where its at.
I see that depreciation in foretravels but, also Newell depreciated pretty fast! From 2.5 milion in ten years they go down to 1.2 milion, that’s a significant depreciation! 🤷🏻♂️
I don't think I would call the Foretravel a "Production coach". I'm sure that Newell makes more coaches than Foretravel. The Newell is nicer but not one million dollars nicer. The Foretravel is a better value.
It's not just what you pay but also how well it holds it's value. I kind of doubt he is going to get what he is asking for the Newell but he does it for a living so I doubt he is too far out of line. With the depreciation the Newell is probably a better deal at the end of the day.
Waiting for Andrew to respond to some of those VERY valid comments down there... He has a great audience and i love reading all of them. One thing is for sure, the used motorcoach market is nearing a cliff. All the manufacturers are trying to act like everything is cool but it is quite the contrary. We are upgrading very soon, but exhibiting patience right now. Andrew is that you? Wait, I think i see him...
Andrew, you need to go out to Texas and visit the FORETRAVEL factory. This isn't a fair comparison at all. You're comparing the REALM, which is a 'production' coach, to a custom NEWELL. You should be comparing a FORETRAVEL IH-45, which is a custom coach, to the NEWELL. Yeah, the NEWELL is going to have more glitz, and eye wash, but the IH-45 also has many of the high end features as the NEWELL and being a custom coach they can add whatever high end features you want. The biggest difference I can see is the tag axle steering and aluminum side walls but is that really worth another million dollars?
Newell is a better coach…but Newell is on a whole different playing field…I don’t think this Newell is 3x the coach of Foretravel…I would go with a Foretravel over a King Aire all day long…Foretravel Always has excellent rear baths..Kinda not fair when comparing a coach 3x the price over the other…Just my $.02
I can already tell which one you like better Andrew lol! Just by how you were comparing the two when you were giving the tour of the Foretravel. For me? If Bradly T came up to me and said I could have either one for free: Hands down the Foretravel is the one I would pick if I had the choice between the two. The paint job on the Newell coach is beautiful. But the inside looks like the inside of a nightclub, or like a party bus that people would go to party and have a good night and there is even beds for people to sleep in after the party. It in no way makes me feel like I’m in a warm and cozy coach. It’s not ugly by any means, you can see the quality of the craftsmanship. And it’s a very attractive coach. But it isn’t something I would buy even if I had that kind of money. Over 2$ million dollars? I don’t see it. Anyway….thank you so much for a great video, it was really fun comparing the two coaches. I would love to see more of these kind of videos in the future!😊
If both were offered to you for free and you chose the Foretravel, then I don't mean to be rude but you are... not very bright. 🙂 I'm kind of just playing around, but in 10 years from now, the Newell will be worth MUCH MUCH MUCH more than the Foretravel. If money means nothing to you, then you're unique but the for the rest of us, value is important.

I am not impressed with any of the very high end coaches that do not offer real wood cabinetry and, their reasons about the wood moving around with the season changes is partially true, being a cabinet maker they could offer real wood veneers over stable substrates to give you the warm feel of wood not, the shiny plastic laminate. I used solid oak and maple in my rebuild and have no problems. I think Liberty Coach is getting way out of hand price wise but, if you can sell your product to those that have to have the most expensive then there those that can market that to some people

not really a reasonable comparison. Newell is in a different class. Foretravel is no longer anything special since the IH. The Realm is a nice high end production coach. Realm vs. KingAire would have been more appropriate. And really, you need to stop repeating the works robust and industrial all the time.
For me it’s like Canon and Nikon, you can’t go wrong with either one. I’d say go with Newell if you feel the need to design and spec absolutely everything including the chassis. Both are absolutely gorgeous and amazing.
Foretravel lost 50% 3,500 miles on it. (Junk run away)….. The Newell is being offered at almost full price but is still used. Follow the resale money and then you will know what is junk.
Newell generally towers above the rest. But did you really have to choose the most tasteless, douchey coach they've ever been forced to build for this comparison?

Give me the Newell!
not really a reasonable comparison. Newell is in a different class. Foretravel is no longer anything special since the IH. The Realm is a nice high end production coach. Realm vs. KingAire would have been more appropriate. And really, you need to stop repeating the works robust and industrial all the time.
looknicelikegoodi❤rv😊
Newell is aluminum skin, What is the Foretravel?
Economic reality aside, I would choose Newell, but not that Newell. Garish, gaudy, and a host of other descriptors come to mind.
Murphy bed in the Newell should have been electric. That's a no go for me from ever buying a Newell.
For me it’s like Canon and Nikon, you can’t go wrong with either one.
I’d say go with Newell if you feel the need to design and spec absolutely everything including the chassis. Both are absolutely gorgeous and amazing.
You pronounced Nega-dotches! Its Nacogdoches
Newell or Nothing

Comparing apples to apples, you need the Presidential version to go up against the Newell. The Newell is nice but overpriced.
Newell hands down.
Foretravel lost 50% 3,500 miles on it. (Junk run away)….. The Newell is being offered at almost full price but is still used. Follow the resale money and then you will know what is junk.
NIce review but stop saying high end, we know it's high end what you need to be saying is oh this isn't the quality I would expect.
👍🇺🇲
Go Newell or go home!
Newell generally towers above the rest. But did you really have to choose the most tasteless, douchey coach they've ever been forced to build for this comparison?
The battleship gray in the Newell is predictable and extremely boring. Great floorplan! Newell is the best! However, I would not want the battleship gray color that everybody seems to want these days. I hate being a follower!
