2:12 that first Detroit logo actually made me jump and laugh when I saw it.
I love your vids
Why does the 30s league shield look like a TV graphic from the 80s?
How about The History on The 1st 3 AFL's & The AAFC (All American Football Conference) Please.
Will do dude!
@@sportshistoryincCan you do an updated list?
Where did you find the NFL’s 1920-1939 logos?
I found it on logos-world.net/nfl-logo/It has every logo ever basically!
@@sportshistoryinc I had just never seen or verified any shield pre-1940
The pre 40s logos are most likely fake, especially the 1920 logo. The NFL wasn't called the NFL in 1920, it was instead called the APFA
@@evz1779 I also think the NFL goes back and makes logos like they did for the first four Super Bowls, they tend to do that too for some reason
I always like the 80s team logos.
These aren't necessarily helmet logos, but team logos for other purposes, mostly advertising.
Wait a hot minute... So The Chicago Bears were the Stanleys
Yes, the Chicago Bears were the Dectar Stanleys in the 1920's

The colts one ain’t accurate. The Dallas Texans is from a different colts team. The current colts came by after the aafc colts folded.
I had read that the owner of the 1952 Dallas Texans was promised a franchise in Baltimore since the NFL had its sights there and once the Texans folded he moved it all to Baltimore to form the second Baltimore Colts
