- This video is a before and after "time lapse" or highlight reel of the entire classic camper remodel from start to finish. When I bought the 1983 coachman travel trailer in September of 2022 I didn't know anything at all about campers and didn't know how a renovation on the vintage travel trailer would go. However the last eleven months I have done just about everything from new plumbing, counters, paint, brakes, to repairing broken furnaces, and drawers, to sanding and coating the chassis. The vintage camper renovation has been a growing experience that has taught this do it yourself er that I can do much more than I knew. The video shows a great overview of so much of the work and experiences of this weekend warrior camper remodel and the final results which I am incredibly proud of. This video does show before and after so I won't leave you hanging on how the classic camper remodel turns out. Good job. We are currently working on an '82 Coachman. Ours is a bunk house in the back, but the front portion is the same layout. Our cabinets above our table folds and can be a bunk also. We are never using this option. We also do not have a second door.
