I think this is the first song I heard from the show that addicted me to it's music. Hopefully I was able to somewhat do it justice.

i like your vamping starting at measure 19. i've been playing around with different styles there, currently checking out what other people have done. i think i'll go for something a bit deeper/fuller/rockier since i have no backing strings, but i like your take on it. straightforward, melodic, and true to the obc recording.

What's fascinating to me about this is how little exact repetition there is. Bars happen once or twice and the next bars are either a variation of the bars from before or something completely new.

@matao87 I agree that it's a bit faster than the original recording. I should have listened to it a couple times before actually playing it. The song itself sort of takes you away and the faster tempo felt a bit more natural for some reason. Thanks for the comment!

um so yeah. you do the piano accompaniment to all my favorite songs. ive been looking for a good accompanist here in the detroit area without any luck, and i need to do a vocal reel for my agent. was wondering if somehow we could do that with you playing and me singing on the internet somehow? not sure how any of that works, but you play wonderfully.

@drakevans It would be great to see a video response of you singing. A tutorial wouldn't be out of the question but I think it might be hard to do the entire song. Perhaps there is a spot you are struggling with? I've found with most songs, there are usually a couple of spots that really throw me and require extra practice time as well as little pencil note reminders for fingering, chords, etc.

@spyderjosh Could you make a video showing your hands from above? I don't know how to read sheet music so I can't learn this.
I haven't played this song in years :) If your new to sheet music and piano, might I suggest you just learn the chords. They aren't too complicated.

@vivalavieboheme14 That's a good question. I'm not really sure since I don't sing :(. Check out user christopherjoshuarn video response to he's not here. This guy definitely knows the secrets to high quality recording.
