Hi I own the HP Omen Laptop with thunderbolt 4 ports, and planning to get Apollo Solo thunderbolt interface for music production. I have read a lot of problems with UAD and Windows compatibility issues over internet. Just wanted to know your experience of using UAD products with Windows device ?! Cheers. :)
Hi Eliguitarworkshop! Great question! I am using the Apollo x6 with my MSI-Prestige Evo core 13 generation i7-13700H lap top that has two Thunderbolt ports and it has worked well. I have been using it for a couple of months now mainly for recording with no issues. The converters were a major update for me compared to my budget Presonus Studio 24c interface. I should point out that I can't use the Apollo x6 with my gaming PC because it does not have Thunderbolt ports, and I could not add them to the motherboard. I use SutioOne DAW, and I had to download a Universal Audio Control software which I am not sure that is required when you use an Apple device. However, it works on the background and it has not been an issue. That software was prompted when I opened Studio One so if you (your laptop or DAW) would needed it should pop up automatically. My suggestion is that if you decide on the Apollo Solo, then get it from a vendor that gives you at least 30 days money back guarantee. If it genuinely does not works in your laptop, then send it back. Otherwise, another great option that works well for Windows is RME. I hope that helps, cheers!
Im sorry but I cant listen to how you talk in this video, as it is your voice and or accent is not the best for videos, try changing the sound of your voice at the end of the sentence.

It's avalaible on AMD system ?
Hi atkjt3626! I don't think AMD is supported or even tested for compatibility, so I would say not available.
