The Titan's real problem is not with the truck itself but with Nissan corporate's lack of promotion which is almost non existent. For many potential buyers the Titan doesn't merit consideration because they doesn't even know it exists. The Titan's relative simplicity is an asset given the current Tundra's troubles and is a missed opportunity for Nissan.
I bought the first year 2004 Titan and totaled it unfortunately in 2010. Now I'm thinking of getting the last Titan. That 5 year 100,000 mile warranty is a HUGE plus.
@jpenir yes it will but double check with the mgr of the store so it will be on your paperwork. I have seen it where it does and some will drop a year off because of discount. It depends on the contract.
I totally agree 100% which is one of the reasons why I've chosen the 2024 Nissan Titan with the 5.6L Endurance V8 in it with 400 HP and 413 Ibs of Torque over the 2024 Ford F150 with the 5.0L Coyote V8 in it with 400 HP and 410 Ibs of Torque.
I got the '24 SV Midnight edition...its my 5th and last Titan...watch out for transmission issues and cruise control issues, especially in "adaptive cruise"...the transmission "slam" shifts into 1st gear when stopping (jerks the whole vehicle) and the cruise control is all over the place...sometimes jumping into overdrive just to increase 2 mph, dropping out of cruise control, jerking going on long slow downhill, etc...and 2 dealerships say they cant "duplicate the issue"...I think Nissan is just going to ignore these issues and wait on the next class action lawsuit...only good thing, if these issues cause major problems, I have it documented, and the 5 year 100,000 mile warranty...buyers beware!
Yep, the only thing I don't like about my final Titan. This transmission sucks compared to my previous titans with the 5 speed. I want my old one back, ha ha ha.
Just bought a deep blue pearl 2024 Titan SV today! $41k, has 3900 miles. MSRP $51k. Couldn’t be happier. Spray in bed liner, utilitrack, tow package with trailer brake.
Well I like my 2018 Titan SV 2WD with tow package but was a bit disappointed in it when we went to the mountains when snowed and roads iced over and it got stuck twice and other cars and trucks with front wheel drive and some not went right by me like it was nothing! A little embarrassing but did really good on the steep inclines.
Great review Anthony. Sad to see this end of an era truck. It's old school and looks and sound great but it does not seem to have evolved enough. How are things on your side? We're at 105 and muggy. I do have to go out in a bit but that's okay since I plan to grab some sushi 😁 I've seen that Ford is bringing back the Taurus and Continental so I guess they realized going all SUVs was not the best choice. Hoping that you are doing well and happy Monday Anthony.
I wish they would’ve refreshed this truck but Nissan just dropped it instead. We got up to 102, I’m hoping the rain comes to save us lol. Sounds good I’m having butter chicken later tonight and with some Indian tea 😁. Have a great Monday James
I leased a 2024 SV 4x4...didn't realize it didn't have a front-view camera...the truck came with the tow package, there's a blind spot in the passenger side mirror..freaking dangerous...glad I didn't buy it!

@@jpenir I agree
@HawkeyeRides do you know if the 100,000 warranty applies I buy a 2023 or 2022? My local dealer has a few older year models on the lot

@jpenir great bargains now. I had my 05 titan 19 years...sold it to pick up a new 2023 titan. Wonderful new ride.

Yes the cruise control on my 23 Titan SV is very inaccurate. I barely use it but it does suck that it isn't working properly

Ummm, have you ever owned a truck? Not sure your age, but how did you drive before all the fancy tech?

Go home to mommy
This is such an odd comment. Blindspots are the result of mirrors not being properly adjusted.
