Thanks for giving the Titan some love. I have the pro4x & love it. My only gripes are she's a little thirsty, the rear doors could open wider & the front end sits a little on the low side. Other than that, the cockpit is perfect (not too techy) & their antigravity seats are all day comfortable.
I have 2021 SV 4x4 the truck runs better than the Chevy 5.3 V8 I traded in. The fuel mileage is just as good. Great warranty. It’s a shame to lose it. There are fantastic deals on them right now in my area.
It is interesting to me that these never caught on. Especially since the first gen Titan seemed to be popular. As far as I was aware, the first gen Titan was incredibly reliable, they had rust issues, like all trucks around that time, but people seemed to love them.
I love my ‘17 platinum reserve. Couldn’t have asked for a better truck. Everything else feels cheaply made compared to the Titan. Most underrated Truck! Family of 5, 3 car seats! Currently 75.5K miles.
Titan getting some love, Jason your video on how few are left few months back made start seriously looking into the pro4X, I picked up a 24' good deal, very happy with it, heading out on my first road trip tonight , can't wait
@mr.adventure6507 I am very happy with the truck and the deal I got, 13000 off MSRP, it's loaded, I love it more and more, just no sun roof I didn't want it
Bought a 24 Titan SV Extended Cab 4x4 a few months back. Great truck, the 5.6 is Fantastic, no stop start or cylinder deactivation - and the best warranty 5 year 100,000 bumper to bumper - which you forgot to mention !
I have owned 3 nissan trucks all great trucks. I purchased a new 2023 titan xd sv last year. Only have 6000 miles on it so far. It has been awesome . We tow a 5th wheel camper with . Fully loaded around 10000 pounds and it tows great. I did install air bags because it was squatting pretty good. Its not perfect by any means but its a good truck. I plan to keep it for the life of the truck. Great warranty 0 percent interest and 9000 dollars of rebates plus free gooseneck ball hitch set. Im very happy with it. Only issues really are small fuel tank and paint quality are not very impressive .
After seeing so many videos railing on the Titan and problems, it's refreshing to see your video raving about it. No cylinder deactivation/AFM on that engine?? Did not know that!
Yeah sometimes when slowing down 2nd to 1st gear tranny bumps lightly. Sometimes when accelerating from a stop as well. tranny is smooth in higher gears. You?
It doesn't sell well because almost every Titan 2017 to 2019 ended up getting new shortblocks because of knocking issues. Nissan didn't handle this situation well customer should have got longblocks. Customer waited months and months for repairs!!! Been there done that. Tons of info on this issue. Most engine issues were solved in 2020. People just forget to quick in this fast paced new world.
Waited 2 months just to get the cylinder scope appointment there were 12 titans ahead of me, then when i finally got in the dealer said the warranty expired a month ago and short block fix was 9 grand or a whole replacement would run 18 grand.
I think it was a mistake for Nissan to discontinue the TITAN. But hopefully they bring it back in 26 since they'll be Nissonda now. 😂😂I couldn't resist... 😏😏
I still don't see it having a chance against the big 3 (now that Chrysler is "most likely" bringing the Hemi back to compete with Ford & GM.) I don't see Tundra buyers choosing Titan over the big 3 V8 offerings, Im sure Nissan feels the same. YMMV.

Its an amazing truck with one of the best motors made. Always loved the titans.
I still have my 2004 Titan, 296k, and a joy to drive.
Perfrct

yep sad that this truck is leaving. such a great long term truck
Same brother traded my gmc sierra 5.3l for a 2020 pro 4x . Smart move for both of us

well said and agree
Keeping Nissan from "going under", Honda and Nissan have announced plans to merge, "creating world's third-largest automaker".
correct. it will take a couple years to happen but in the works

How far are you driving, could you give me a mpg update? I’ve considered the old 5.7 v8 tundra but I’m very interested in the titan!
@mr.adventure6507 I'll be driving a total of about 1600 miles, part will be at elevation going to Denver, I'll set keep track and post an update
@mr.adventure6507 I am very happy with the truck and the deal I got, 13000 off MSRP, it's loaded, I love it more and more, just no sun roof I didn't want it
Very nice! Congratulations on the new truck and have a safe trip

You are correct I did forget to mention the amazing warranty
Just traded in my 21 SV for a 24 SV XD Titan. Wanted to get back into one with more payload for camper. Its a beast for sure.
Congratulations on a great truck
I seriously considered the Titan great deals on them! But way too big for my needs if I had the room I’d have one last of a dying breed

I hope they bring the titan back
I have my 2023 l lovers 30 thousand miles no problem it l don’t care what people think about Nissan is my favorite brand
Nissan makes an amazing truck
I have one. Great truck
Jason…..you made me spit my beer through my nose when you tried to utilize that side step.
😂
Shit! I was supposed to edit that out 😂
My question has always been, will I be able to easily purchase parts for it 15+ years from now ?
I don't think that will be a problem
Expensive still but it’s my kind of truck
It looks like a truck not a suv with a bed
Anyone with 21-24 having transmission shifting problem?
Yeah sometimes when slowing down 2nd to 1st gear tranny bumps lightly. Sometimes when accelerating from a stop as well. tranny is smooth in higher gears. You?
There's a tsb for that at the dealer. Take it in it's under warranty

True. But nissan really stepped up their truck game last few years. Thought maybe the titan could stick around now that it's in its prime

back doors do not open to 90 degrees.. how stupid
Get a door checker modification. Honda Ridgeline did it I'm sure could find some door checkers that would open 90 degrees
I've had my 24 Pro4X Titan for a year now and love it.
Awesome truck
My 2021 Jeep Gladiator (Rubi) might be a "longevity truck" -- so far, so good.
Just like my Plan to Live Forever -- so far, so good. ;-)

Perfrct! And I hope both happen for you
2 wheel drive with side steps? Nah...

Would be an amazing comback
