Hello, thank you for the video, when exactly you need to apply for temporary registration to GDC, can it be few days before you post begin? For example posts usually start in September, when you should fill temporary registration application form to GDC?
Congratulations on securing a post .Now, when you already have a post, you can write to GDC directly or call them and they ll guide you about all the documents you ll need to submit from your current state dental council and yourself. It doesn't take much long to process.
Is after securing a post in NHS Trust and completing temporary registration, will NHS give any stipend to us if we opt for 6 or 12 months to do training under NHS, or do we have to pay them to allow us to do training in NHS, please do reply.

Hello mam I am a dentist from India and I have applied for DCT 1 post but they said that you are not eligible for performers dct so what can be the reason for this. DCT 1 post is open for all overseas dentist right??
All dental jobs like dentist, dental hygienist, therapists, prosthetists, etc are regulated in the UK.. So, you will have to clear the exams to work in dental field. Hopefully I have answered your question.

Yes, dct can be done without dft by an international dentist who has done the bds with internship.

DCT is same as SHO...DFT is foundation training , not for overseas dentist.

BDS is a must, not the PG.
