Congratulations on securing a post .Now, when you already have a post, you can write to GDC directly or call them and they ll guide you about all the documents you ll need to submit from your current state dental council and yourself. It doesn't take much long to process.

All dental jobs like dentist, dental hygienist, therapists, prosthetists, etc are regulated in the UK.. So, you will have to clear the exams to work in dental field. Hopefully I have answered your question.

Yes, dct can be done without dft by an international dentist who has done the bds with internship.

BDS with internship/ house job is the requirement.
For GDC registration IELTS is compulsory or any other options available, please tell me. Thanks
GDC states that You need to do IELTS if you have done your degree 2 years back

DCT is same as SHO...DFT is foundation training , not for overseas dentist.
