Very informative video.. What are the different master courses that we can do after we get registerd as hygienist in uk?? Are there any other masters program that we can join ??
You can do any masters course in UK . Please check out the various universities in the UK. As such whether you get registered as hygienist or not, it is not going to make any difference to the masters course selection.
There is no need of written letters in the UK for work references. You only need to have their(employers) email id and name. Yes even for locums you can ask the employer if they are happy to provide work reference for you.

Hi Rahil Glad you found our videos helpful 😊 Honestly , I don't have much idea about this. But its important for you to know that when you come here on student visa and you finish your studies, after that to get a work visa you should be on a job which gives you a set amount of salary. Or else you will not be eligible for the tier 2 route and will, have to return back to your home country. I am not sure of the job prospects after doing MPH , and how the salaries would be. I suggest that you look on job search websites to know about the possible salaries. Good luck 👍
Very informative video mam.. can u please guide how to get observership here in UK. I am here on spouse dependent visa and in process of getting myself registered as dental hygienist and therapist, not yet registered. Can we get into shadowing even before getting ourself registered as dcp?? Please reply
Glad you found the video useful. Yes , you can apply for both roles together. You can choose the desired roles in the proforma. So you will receive 2 separate learning outcome forms. However, its up to you to decide if you really want to apply for 2 roles. As for each role you will need to pay individual assessment fees. (Please confirm it by the assessment team)
Can a foreign trained dentist work as a dental assistant in uk on student visa ? As the hygienist and therapist application is tough.. What is the process for dental assistant registration???
Yes , overseas dentist / dental professionals would be able to work in the UK as dental assistants / dental care professionals for example hygienist or therapist. The application is lengthy and has to be completed adequately. Kindly watch these for more info ruclips.net/video/ov5lRyWpBTU/видео.html

@@MeetYourTeeth ma'am, thanks for these useful videos. May i know, that for filling the form (registration for therapist /hygienist) one needs to come to UK or they can fill the form from India (online)?

Hi, Its definitely gonna be challenging to migrate to UK on a student visa and to secure a job as a DCP. Honestly, I would not recommend it. However , if you know someone who can sponsor you as a DH / DT then you can consider this route of registration. If you are planning for this , kindly check out ruclips.net/video/nU8a_xaaN8M/видео.html
MeetYourTeeth actually yes i am planning to migrate to uk but i am still hesitant about whether getting registered now as dcp or just wait for ore to be available. Thank you
MeetYourTeeth plus will i be able to find a job from overseas after completing ore or I might need to go back to student visa and start searching while inside uk
There are candidates who have got the registration as a DCP, but unable to start work as they are unable to find a sponsor. But as mentioned before if you think anyone can help you in UK for providing visa then you can consider this. If not then a more reliable option would be to wait for ORE / LDS exam , because once you pass the exam , it is easier to find a sponsor for dentists.
Once you register as a dentist , the scope is really good. There are many employers who will be willing to sponsor a dentist , so you may be able to apply for jobs from overseas.
Hi mam, what are ways to hunt a job after DT/DH registration? Which all companies sponsor visas? NHS and BDA sites also sponsor visas ? Kindly help me with this
You can look for employed roles so the organization would be able to sponsor you. Sorry , I am not sure of any company who could provide sponsorship for DH / DT

There is no harm in applying, but it is highly unlikely that the employer would select someone from outside UK when they can easily find Dental therapists in UK. Hi You can apply through the DCP assessment route. All details are explained here ruclips.net/p/PLTrx_D9x6QTCF_QQ8MRFQqahU5tFfl6dA As of now there is no exam, but due to lot of arguments from the local british dental hygienist / therapist organisations - the GDC might make some changes in the assessment pattern in the future. Let me remind you , you may be able to register easily but finding a work visa for such roles is very difficult. Therefore I recommend this route only to candidates who have got a UK visa already
