Hi Response to your queries :- 1. To continue work after your studies , you need to be on a work visa. Sadly it is very difficult to get a visa for hygienist / therapist role. Therefore , my advice for you would be to utilize your time well when on student visa and prepare for ORE /LDS exams to register as a dentist and get a work visa. Because it is easier to get a visa for dentist , although passing these exams may be time consuming. 2. Irrespective of any masters , if you want to work as a hygienist , you should first get registered with the GDC as a DCP. 3. To work as a dentist , you will have to get registered as a dentist with the GDC. And this can be done if you pass ORE / LDS exams. Hope all your doubts have been answered. Good luck :-)

Still I hve to clear ore exam?.. And after clearing how can I practice orthodontics there????? Please reply please reply
Hi
yes , usually overseas dentist will need to pass ORE / LDS exams to practice as dentist in UK unless their qualification is recognised in Uk.
Once you register as dentist , you can try to apply for assessment of specialist route , this may be time consuming , you would need to submit lot of paperwork.
Kindly fill in this route to registration questionnaire , it will guide you further

Does paperwork means some publication of college cases??????

Hello mam thankyou for this video, I am from india and i have 3 doubts, i hope you will reply. my doubts are as follows-
1.If i did my masters in uk while working as an assistant there then after completing my masters can i continue to work there or do i have to apply for different visa or will they send me back to my home country ?
2.If i did my masters in dentistry in uk so can i apply for the dental hygienist jobs directly or do i have to go through the numerous steps to get registered first ?
3.If i do my masters in uk so can i work as an dentist in uk directly or still i have to pass the ore exam ?
Please reply🙏
Hi
Response to your queries :-
Is housejob necessary for ORE?
Were you required to do any cpd course for registration?
May I ask if you are asking about registration for Dentist or hygienist / therapist ?
Do helpful thanks but i have a question .. as an overseas dentist want to work as hygienist in uk
The money i get per hour i know depends on the location
So i saw a contract around 25 £ per hour this is good or i mean realistic !
£25 / hr is an average pay. So it is not great but not bad either.
Mam, Thank you for sharing a valuable information.... Recently came to UK under Student Visa to pursue Masters in Public health,Can I enroll to GDC to practice as Dental Hygienist?
If so can you suggest anyone who'll help me regarding CPD's
Hi
Welcome to the United Kingdom !
Yes you can register as a DCP. But being on student visa you will have certain restrictions , so finding work as a hygienist could be difficult.

Hi john, i am dr.divya Mds in periodontics.. i am planning for study visa in uk. Could you please share me details? In which university are you pursuing ur masters?? How can I DM you?
Hello doctor
Is it possible for an Indian dentist to pursue masters in dental hygiene in uk?
Hi , I am not aware of any particular masters for dental hygiene in UK.
May I ask what are you aiming for ? So that I can guide you better
is cpd course compulsary
Once you are GDC registered , you need to complete set hours of cpd courses every year.
If you are asking about cpd courses for registering as DCP - it is not mandatory but you would need to do some courses to gain the required competencies for hygienist / therapist , for the topics that are not covered in your bds curriculum.
