For the bubbles in the bedliner, take a syringe with crazy glue and inject it push out the excess and clean up with rubbing alcohol. With the quick set bedliner things happen and you can get small bubbles. Awesome box setup I have 68inch Epiq with a hutch it's candy apple red with gloss black trim
It can be fun if you’ve got a good boss I’m about to turn 18 and I was a diesel mechanic for 2 years and my boss is the shittiest person I know and that why I quit but I did like the job itself
A $5,700.00 side locker to store auto parts, sounds like a waste of money to me. I would just buy a $200.00 storage cabinet for auto parts. Every tool box tour is the same thing, big toolboxes full of auto parts, junk draws, and plastic cases. Snap-on Junkie is the only toolbox that is mostly full of tools.
I agree. I see so many people with the toolboxes that make $100,000 a year or less and have a box like this. The only guy I have ever seen have a toolbox like this that it made sense was a guy who I used to take my work trucks to. He had 75 mechanics that worked for him and made over $1 million a year. He had 3 city contracts for their small diesels and specialty equipment. He only had snap on because he could buy it through his business and write it off. He took it all home though. He had a set bigger than this in his garage. Most of his employees had harbor freight toolboxes with snap on tool only for important things like torque wrenches because he provided them. Other than that it was milwaukee power tools and they all had different brands of hand tools that they provided themselves.
The best part about him making his good hard earned money is spending it however he wants. He wanted and invested in a Snap-On box and it looks amazing. That’s just like saying no one needs the new Corvette. (Example). Sure, no one needs to own the new Corvette when a Camry is fine transportation itself. But, driving around in a Vett is fun and nice to enjoy. It’s all about being happy and enjoying having nice things in your career. No one is better than the other. We all have our own taste and preferences and choices with our own money.
I have the Epiq 84 as well, just no side lockers. Once Snappy quoted me $11,600 for two lockers, I went to Sams Club and bought a locking cabinet with stainless doors, on sale for $179.
Nice set up. Bubble on top maybe rusting under neath?? If snap on warranty covers top replace maybe throw a little $$ at rep and upgrade to lighted top. Sweet.
My toolbox is filled with mostly Snap-on and Mac tools, some Cornwell, Matco tools too. I may eventually have to do my own toolbox tour after my first year working as a Semi truck mechanic for Mack/Volvo.
nice box! fix bubbles in place. go to feed store look in bovine section for syringe, get small jar of contact cement, squirt under bubble use magnets to hold down till dry. on your magnet switch can the receiver be turned 180 to where wire is facing up? if so get some 3m strip caulking it doesn't harden tuck all those wires up out of sight.
It's always the individual technicians and self employed hard workers that pay the heaviest price. Over and over again. it's the same here in Canada. Perhaps worse Snap-on tools USD at $100,000.00 = approx CND $130,000.00 can you imagine how hard it is to get a decent return working up here. People everywhere are going to prolong this downturn by not doing the right thing and listen to the experts, and I don't mean the politicians. Our federal leaders have dropped the ball big time.
Just found your channel. Man alive I thought I had a lot of Snap on Tools as been buying them for nearly 50 yrs, but boy you take first prize. Thank you sooo much for sharing. Stay safe. Mike, Norwich, England.
Mine was one of the first rhino tops (prototype) as I was told. I've had no issues 7yrs strong.. The guy next to me is on his 3rd top replacement. Seems like mine made of a different brand/material idk.
Every time i watch one of your videos it costs me money, because i see some cool tool you have and i want. Thanks for the great videos and keep them coming.
thanks for saying something about the locker lights.... i got the same setup pretty much and my dealer only sold me the light for the hutch. I didnt know they made those.
I have my 84 inch epic just like yours I'm out of room ,alot of my socks and such are on top station,it's getting so bad that you can't see the lightning , I think I have more tools than most tool trucks ,I'm thinking about doing some utube video's
Its nice to see and hear about all the tools you've got. Its It's almost like and inspiration to get more tools that i dont have haha. And like someone said on on the comments, longer poop time lol. Thanks for posting . Love your nifty tool videos.
Nice tour Mr. Rustbelt! Always gwt great organization ideas from you. I need to reorganize, I just bought a new box a year & a half ago, as well as a new cart & I'm running out of space.
How do you like the coil on plug interceptor ? I was going to get the paddle wand from aes wave for my scope. I have found moving from working at a mopar dealer to an independent shop that my tool inventory has quadrupled. I’m glad I seen you done some vids on how not to get yourself buried in debt with tools, seen so many young kids struggling to pay huge tool bills.
That boltster organizer pad. If I'm saying that right. Where can i find one? Looks very useful... didn't see anything in the comments about it... thanks!
Hyperstep drill bits suck, my buddies Irwin's cut so much faster without bluing the tip. Worst money spent on them. Want the updated cobalt version but not sure if I trust them
Well looks like I have some money to spend now thanks Kyle... I personally think the snapon wobble plus is better then other brands out there I have snap on 1/4 in through half 1/2" but always find myself buying more lol. I have the gearwrench version and they seem to kick the socket off a lot. I'm seriously lacking in the 12 point I just need to bite the bullet and order new boxes, my 2x72s are stuffed along with the top boxes. I like the milwaukee vice grips and everyone tries to tell me they are trash I'm yet to have any issues. For those looking for pwz pliers and want to save some money buy them through bahco, they are a snap on owned company and produce pwz pliers for snap on in spain. Stay safe bud
After Snap on bought out Bahco they move manufacturing to Argentina and after blowing out the teeth every other month it felt like I ended up going with the knipex quick adjust swedish pipe wrench. My pwz are now just crappy hammers.
can't remember exactly which years but dodge had a kit when the fuel pump relay went bad in the tipim you could wire in a external one do you have a extra set of instructions for wiring one. i did one a while back and misplaced the wiring diag. if you do let me know thanks
Do a tour of your home box. My dealership in the Chicago area was taken over by the asshole family that pushed out toolboxes in the rain during the strike. Most of us are pulling tools out. Since we were told no insurance on tools your on your own. I need some ideas.
Hm same set just different tray. Well I know what I'm bringing up on the truck Wednesday lol. Been waiting almost 3 months for a backordered 1/2" post tray
God damn!!!! I make crazy money working on trucks and I would never go into 20k of debt on a tool holder!!!!!! Looks great!!! You must make over 120k a year!!! Nice video
Stop using priper paint! Primer is designed to absorb moisture from paint to help it stick and dry to it. It promotes rusting. Ever notice cars on the road with primered wheel wells they rust back up within a year.

Thats just amazing. Every tool I own goes into my toolbox in the bed of my truck lol. My dream is to be a diesel mechanic one day

You have a first rate setup. I just bought my first proper box, Cornwell 54 pro series. You're giving me good things to consider.
Nice set up.
Bubble on top maybe rusting under neath?? If snap on warranty covers top replace maybe throw a little $$ at rep and upgrade to lighted top. Sweet.

Thanks for the tour and detail. Don't use much of the tool truck brands myself, but it is great to see what is out there and what the uses are.
Matco 3/8 locking flex head is a savage beast of a ratchet
Business has been very slow for the last 2 weeks for me. I sure hope this virus is over soon.
It's only begun, it's going to get much worse.

I was thinking bedliner top for my epiq, but decided on the stainless steel power top with the led strip to light the drawers
Do a video on the electric brake tester
thanks for saying something about the locker lights.... i got the same setup pretty much and my dealer only sold me the light for the hutch. I didnt know they made those.

when should we expect an updated roll cart tour?
Well I pretty much gave the look into everything on that one in this video
Awesome setup man, Love the side cabs, going that way with my classic 96!
Love the toolbox. What’s the part number on the bin system that’s mounted to workstation that you keep bolts in it
Beautiful setup...still feel you cld do the same work for about one hundred thousand dollars less...but nun the least a nice setup.
Cool video. That's an awesome box
Ratcheting flare nut wrench!
Great tour I'm definitely interested in a few items
@Rustbelt Mechanic For your socket organization have you thought about trying magrails by vim tools They seem nice but expensive
Have looked at those, but I have something in the works. It’s just not out to the public QUITE yet😁👍🏻
Hey just bought a matte black box and curious hot to clean and protect the finish? Thanks and love the videos
Just bought snap on's new 240" super mega epic tool box. We'll be posting a video soon.
adam sooker please do, I can’t find anything on it and I’m curious to see what it looks like
Really SICK setup...thanks for sharing 👍
I know I am not a snap on guy but Dan that’s a nice tool box
It's about time that tool Box is a beast
Nice tour Mr. Rustbelt! Always gwt great organization ideas from you. I need to reorganize, I just bought a new box a year & a half ago, as well as a new cart & I'm running out of space.
Awesome Vid!!!
Onyx makes the air rivet gun ,so you don't have to use the rivet gun in the blue case
Home box tour would be great
You’d love my collection of harness pins I’ve collected de pinning garbage harnesses. I keep all the plugs too
Yes!! Too many times I have a corroded our connector and find they don’t make pigtails anymore. So...I’ve got the fix right in my box😁

I like the COP interceptor, don’t get to use it as much as I’d like to lol. Yeah guys need to keep their spending in check for sure
Awesome set up, ever get any flak about the real estate you take up in the shop?
Nope never did....pretty small dealership
Is there a part number for the blacked out lock cover on the main box? Wanna get one for my masters
New tool box tour! Looks like this is going to be my longest poop ever....
McBake hey man when are you gonna be making your tool box tour man. Been dying to see it
V8 Gaming he already did it on his channel. As well as small clips and pics of it are on his Instagram
McBake when should we expect an updated roll cart tour?
McBake yeah same....
Is it really worth it to have a complete locker full of spare part and junk? Is it paying off at the end?
That boltster organizer pad. If I'm saying that right. Where can i find one? Looks very useful... didn't see anything in the comments about it... thanks!

Give us a tutorial on tightening your forehead bolts.
You know, those Frankenstein fasteners.
Did you sell off your tool box and what are you using now that you are back at the dealership.
Yep I had sold it to get the new house were in now. I’ve got a 72” Sp box at the moment at the dealership
Very nice!
Great tour man!! Ooftah dats a shit ton of tools!!!
Have you checked out the other PWZ family I have 0-3 badass pliers

New toolbox widgets design...announcement is coming in April.
Rustbelt Mechanic I thought so thanks I will
Hold out for these.
Bet that Genius jump box can't out perform the SP Tools jump box.

Do you use a scope in your daily diagnostic work ??
We have one with our Snapon Zeus which is in our shop toolbox. I prob use it biweekly
Hey where can one buy those wrenches you have that have the cut out for speed wrenching
How so you set up The lights in the locker to work like that? I could only get mine to come on when the magnet got close not the other way around.
They have different controller boxes that are either normally open or normally closed, just tell your rep to get you the other control box
The tool cart impacts are Metric?
What is you’re most lost wrenches

Damn man that sucks badly. That’s pretty low for a shop to not insure the employees tools in their building.
You should do a video of you working on a customers car this week
Shop policy doesn’t allow that. That’s why you don’t really see that very often on the channel. Not my shop not my rules
@@RustbeltMechanic ahh OK fair enough, thought it was your shop
Hey very nice!!!
How much would you say you invested in the setup minus tools?
I wonder how much you have spent on tools?
Nice channel bud! Started poppin up un my feed. If you ever get any Fords your way look me up!!!👍🤝🤜
typical forman has half the shop stuff in his box that noone else can get to when needed
Nope, there’s a few mopar tools in there, but those are purchased by me. EVERYTHING in that box is stuff I own.
how did you adapt the looks like screw driver handle on ratchet
Peace be upon you brother
Just get to the sockets already lol
Honestly man, Snap On is the best wether we like it or not. If you can afford it buy it, i love it man. Keep us updated
Do you have a link for the workbench? I need a lead on a good workbench for transmission rebuilds.
Did your 1/2" shallow impact sockets come in the magnetic tray? Mine came in the crappy plastic laying down ones. So did my deep well
Yes they definitely came in the nice mag tray, 8-24mm
Hm same set just different tray. Well I know what I'm bringing up on the truck Wednesday lol. Been waiting almost 3 months for a backordered 1/2" post tray
The plastic trays take up way too much room, being that the sockets are laying down
What’s the part number on the locker light
Just curious what your opinion of the Icon series of tools and boxes?
Not my cup of tea on the tools and not in my interest area on the boxes.
Rustbelt Mechanic 😂😂🤦🏽♂️
Where did you get the impact holder for the side of your roll cart?
Snapon dealer
8:03 when the big daddy wants to eat
Hi what the model of the TCL TV???
can you measure the length of the tv for me please?
Where did you get the zip tie gun?
I got that one from my Tiffco (shop supplies) rep but I’m sure they just rebrand.
Can you use ekco locks on the epiq 68" or masters series boxes?
Def not on the masters and I don’t really know on the 68, I thought all Epiq boxes had the option for it
@rustbelt 💪🔥
You fit in a mini cooper?
Owned one for 8 years

How does one lose a ratchet in a radiator?
Well technically it had fallen between the radiator and condenser.
That makes sense
