Cool setup and sweet shop. I would’ve loved to be a fly on the wall in Snap On’s board room meeting. “How can we get everyone to rebuy the same tools?” … FOAM yes that will do it
Probably one of the best videos you have done. The audio was awesome, the box was neat, the tech had a passion for his tools and it didn't feel forced. A+++
Another great video brother. Gotta love the snack drawer. I actually didn't have a extra drawer but using a Milwaukee wall plate and a two drawer box does a fine job. Edit to add. Getting paid hourly is great, assuming you are being paid appropriately. I spent many years playing the book time game and while i made more it is dealership dependent. I always had at least 2 bays, sometimes 3. In a shop that does mostly non warranty work it is probably a better deal for everyone including the customer.
13:15.. this stuff can be handy..there's another one for plastic (Plastex from G.T. Motorsports) that you can use to fix like a plastic clip or connector if you needed to in a pinch until you can buy and replace the broken plastic connector/connection...
In today's video Tool whisperer shows us enthusiastic young guy that is not afraid of tool truck wizardry prices. He's happy though. Next level tool ids and prices with some mrsubaru touch on Matco alternatives or OEM. Maybe videos resuming your tool finds on these tours. That analysis/comment would be awesome 😎
If you are ever in Southern California I’d love to do a tour! If it ever happens I will definitely have more and a real a have what I feel like is a nice set up!
He should get the spring puller from ski-doo. I find that it have a lot better grip on the spring than the woodys. And also. pour boiling water on the axle part if the primary clutch the get them of a lot easier.
Love the videos man. I was wondering if you could do a tour of marine diesel mechanics? I work in the trade, and all my coworkers have such a unique array of tools.
Having a box that big and heavy would be a nice item but most techs don't need it and in a shop that big, with work benches on both sides, I wonder why he feels the need to rebuild transmissions on his $18k toolbox rather than on the workbench. That would take care of the fluid spill issue. I also would have taken off the casters or get smaller casters, if possible, to lower the Snap-On box 2 inches. But to each their own and if he certainly got a box that last him a lifetime.
We use foam A LOT in aerospace. Tool accountability is a major deal. Tools left in aircraft parts or inside a plane somewhere are BAD. I absolutely detest the bottom grade Harbor Freight insert bits.
I love the box. I have a matco 6s same box in gloss black and red trim. Not going to lie I like the flat wrinkle paint more, it's so easy to scratch or nick the paint on my box, its like car paint. Still I think Matco makes the best boxes on the market. I have so much weight in mine it doesn't bother it a bit.
Awesome toolbox! I visited a Matco tool truck for the first time recently and was blown away by the massive 6S box. 30 inches deep. Wowzers! Anyways, this tour was fun today, this guy seems to have a great sense of humor. Thanks for the work on this one.
I pass on motorcycle repairs. Because of bikers. I tried twice. Fixed a stator on a bike, the owner laid down. Rolled up, saw the bike in the door. Jumped on it and took off. Stuck me with $900 in part to pay for. Fake name, fake phone number, fake address. The second was a simple repair on a Harley. Dude gets on the internet. The Internet tells him I'm ripping him off... They got an uncle that can do it cheaper... So in and so forth. Dude showed up at the shop with a gun. Pointing it in my employees faces. Scaring the shit out of people. Ranting how we were just ripping him off. I've pretty much stopped working for the American people all together. I'm not trying to get shot for helping people. Up around the Manistee national Forest. Those side by sides are broke down, all over the woods. Shit carbs. Shit axle shafts... They are the KIA, of this generation. Another cheap Chinese contraption, designed to keep people fixing it. It's all fun and games, until you're out in the woods.... And that harsh environment, is separating the marketing theory... From the harsh reality of nature.

Thank you some much for the opportunity!!!
Thank you so much for inviting me out!!
Awesome box man! You have some really great tools and a fun personality. Keep crushing it dude 🤘
Thank you!
You seem like you would be an awesome guy to work with.
What a beautiful box and thank you for sharing 👍🏻
I love the experience of the older guys but I really enjoy the entusiasm of the younger guys showing their tools.
I agree!
Such a genuine dude doing a hell of a job with a hell of a setup. Content suggestion if you could. Race mechanic toolbox tour. Great content!
Oooo good suggestion! Maybe.. coming soon? 🤙😄

I woke up and was like time for my Saturday morning tool box tour and here it is-a new episode uploaded 1 min ago. Good morning!

Hope you enjoyed it!
Love this guy's energy! I also think that's one of the coolest boxes I have ever seen!
Probably one of the best videos you have done. The audio was awesome, the box was neat, the tech had a passion for his tools and it didn't feel forced. A+++
I appreciate the feedback! And thanks!!
What an awesome guy! Really proud and enthousiastic about his setup, I really liked this tour!
Mechanics personality really makes a difference on these tours.
I agree forsure
Snack drawer did it for me...he has his priorities in line.
Haha right??
Thank you for getting this uploaded every week again. Loving it every Saturday💪🏼
More to come!
X-2 👍🏻
I look forward to your videos every weekend !!!
Thank you!
Dang it. I made it weeks without needing a new tool then this guy brings out that pair of Snapon wire strippers/crimpers. Need it.
It seems like a simple tool, but everybody that has one swears by them.
Man I love this channel. I grew up around power sports. So that’s super cool to see. That is a sweet box. Thanks for another great video. As always.
Glad you enjoy it!
Lively fella i kept waiting to see him drinking some Red Bull then I saw the Mountain Dew nice set of tools keep them coming 👍😎👍
It was my day off so no red bull lol
@@glacmcpheters6684 Lol next time strap on has a BOGO and you have half buy it and sell the one you have or the new one and recover some dough 👍😎👍
Way to spread the business around a Matco box filled with snappy. Keep the vids coming we love your work
Great video….always great to see the tools and techs with great positive attitude!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
CONTENT SUGGESTION: aircraft mechanic (a&p, avionics) tool box tours
He's done at least one a&p guy I think maybe more..
I've never seen a textured box like that. I would really love that for mine. Top is slick, too. Very nice setup!
Another interesting tool box Tour what’s interesting is the difference between the work he does compared to a automotive technician
Yeah always fun to see the different stuff people work on

I agree about book time. Also - Milwaukee snack wall 🤘

Good to know!
Would love to see some city fleet mechanic content or EV technician stuff. Great video today
I’ll add it to the list!
That was a sexy box

What a nice dude
I'm jealous of the snappy hammers in foam which is really funny since I have 2 of them and almost always use my mini sledge from hobo freight instead
Yeah the foam is super nice. Almost too nice haha
You do and find the best reviews thankyou.
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching 👍
Great video.....now do the white US General in the background!
these guys got really nice boxes
OUTSTANDING !
That was super rad.
Glad you liked it John!
My Snap On stock loves seeing these videos
😅
This truly a niche channel
Thank you 😊
FC72 Snap On is a must have for any tech!
No way bro made a Hellen Keller joke 😂
😅
If you are ever in Southern California I’d love to do a tour! If it ever happens I will definitely have more and a real a have what I feel like is a nice set up!

Dude thank you!!!! ❤❤❤
Good morning. Time to stare at strangers toolboxes before i drink some coffee and go stare at mine
Have fun! 😅
Will you ever venture to Canada to do tours?
Eventually 😃
i really like this guy, some of the guys on here seem a touch rude but i really like mac
Great looking box but crazy price 😮

Haha! 😅
Would you be interested in touring the box of a cat radiator rebuild specialist
Sounds interesting! Send me an email so we can chat 🙂. Toolboxtour@gmail.com

I’d love to do an aerospace tour someday. I love FOAAMMMMM.
No video this week?
I thought the same thing I need to know I need to know what to tell my snap-on guy that I need lmaoooo
Unfortunately no 🙁. Stay tuned for next week though!

I’m not a big fan of Matco, but I love this Matco tool box with this color combo👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Because of this I bought the snap-on wire stripper and crimper
Can’t go wrong with those! The larger set is nice as well
Love the box and the guy was super humble and seems very down to earth. Great video
Couldn't agree more!
Whoa. When was that buy one get one free deal? My dealer said nothing about that.
Great content! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!

Yeah it’s really huge!
Love this guys energy and attitude. Nice set up
What are the criteria in being in videos? I really watching your videos to help organize my toolboxes
How many guys have the golden ratchet sitting in the toolbox that will never get used lol.
I'm usually against the hammered finish. But it looks good as a 2 tone!
That seems like fun and only 2 peo... all money in😂😂😂
Bicarbonate soda does exactly the same as that Kubon stuff
Good to know!
And i see the 5 drawer blue H-F cart with the lift lid.
Husband material.
Matco et al are waking up to H-F which now offers a rainbow of colors
Hard to beat the value of the hf boxes
Waiting by my phone for your video!
Hope you liked it!
@@ToolBoxTour sure did! Thank you for the video and your time. Enjoy the rest of your Easter Weekend my Friend!
👍👍‼️
Great tour! Thankyou!
Great video man. Thanks for the great content!
Appreciate it!
Whats the biggest box u ever did a tour on?
It was a couple weeks ago, thing was huge
I did a pretty big white EPIQ a few weeks ago!
I like snacks but wait until a mouse finds it. I no longer keep any type of food in my box.
Yeah, I’ve had decent luck with sealed snacks tho.
How do I contact you about doing a tour? I really think you would like my setup. I asked you before but never e-mailed you 😂 just been busy
Yup! Just hit me up on instagram @toolboxtours or send an email to toolboxtour@gmail.com 👍
id love to see this guys bill
No ya don't 😂😂
