I think yamaguchi is very innocent and i love oikawa when he stays serious. I really love them this is the best. I Cried and felt bad for oikawa when they lost.

oikawa has lost him self with perfection and hates people that are naturally better than him. Ex (kageyama) (Ushijima) because they get better than him no matter how hard he tries hes not a prodigy and will always will fall short of people that are no matter how hard he tries

Anoher thing- (please don't blame me if it's wrong but I heard this from quite a few people online) tsukiyama (tsukki x yamaguchi) was supposed to be canon but they changed it in the end

Yamaguchi and Oikawa have similar i securities problems and mental states. The difference is skill/popularity/coping mechanisms. I just want oiyama fics weather that be platonic or romantic😭 I JUST WANT THRM TO INTERACT
Oikawa tried his best, only to be showered in hate. I felt bad for Oikawa when they lost at Nationals because he worked so hard just to end up loosing.. Especially since he is the captain of the team, most people would give him the hate and not the actual team members. On top of that, Iwaizumi is rude to him for no reason, I mean all Oikawa did was try his hardest, and yeah, he might seem "self - centered" or "vain" when you first watch Haikyuu, but he can't help it as he had a disorder which made him act quite vain and self - centered.. Oikawa is a very strong character in personality wise but Nationals somehow found a way to break him. He seemed very passionate about playing volleyball and he seemed like he really cared for and about his team, no matter what they'd do. I'd say he's quite easy but at the same time, hard to manipulate, I mean, when it comes to volleyball, he's like Midoriya, memorizing every weakness and advantage to any volleyball player in the anime. He was a very good player to Aoba Johsai and I'd be very lucky to have him as my team captain. Even with his injured knee, he still tried hard.. even with his own childhood friend treating him like crap, he still tried hard.. even against Karasuno, Shiratorizawa, Nekoma, ect, he still tried hard.. What I'm basically saying is that, Oikawa has been strong for too long.
