I live in Oshkosh (actually directly across from the airport in town) , yes it is fun to see all the planes. I've been going to EAA since 1970, i don't fly but still like planes
Belly cam shots are beautiful. Tight downwind turn to final reminds me of the same turn I first made there 26 years ago. Some things never change. Nice to have others along that enjoy flying. I am sure you all had a great time.
"Missed by 5 feet" great comment....well done! The tail camera on base to final looked awesome and steep...way to handle the turn! See ya Sun n Fun....
I like how they make fun of the pilot calling in with a request as a rookie, then they get called out for not being over the railroad tracks. Goes to show that everyone is simply trying their hardest to fly a difficult approach, and anyone can make a mistake.
Wow, great video! You did a superb job with the editing and camera angles. I would make one suggestion to make your videos even better, do a bit of enhancement on the footage. GoPro camera footage almost always needs just a little sharpening, and just push the contrast just a little. You'll be surprised at how much better the footage looks.
That was great! I love the 3-screen split that you did at the end during the taxi. If I may ask, what video editing software did you use to create that? Also, your Cirrus has a castering nose wheel, right? Did that make it difficult to steer on the grass?
I would hope that all the RUclips videos of Oshkosh arrivals that have been uploaded in the last 5 years or so would help make arrival safer since first timers can follow along on MANY arrivals so when they do it, it won't feel new to them.
That was cool. Nice flying gentlemen. This young pilot did seem to prefer staying a bit left of therailroad tracks, so perhaps he is a Democrat. Haw haw...

Love that all the flying technical procedures go out the window for one week and it's just "Follow the tracks and land on the dot". 😆
Proud parents!! You are a young professional with a bright future! Cockpit....surgeon....or astronaut? May the winds always favor you!!

Really enjoyed the video! Thanks so much for posting, the cam on the back was awesome!
Great video and the camera placements were fantastic !!!!!
Thanks for the ride !!!!!!!!

First time seeing that all the way through uncut. Thank you. Thinking about doing it next year.

Great flying, love the bellycam.
Excellent! Great job and airmanship!
Nice touch!
Great video! Tip for next year, get your GAP sign laminated at Staples or Office Depot, much easier to handle.
Great job, not sure how you could get any more “over the tracks”.
He was a tiny bit off, but it's not a bush plane with a window in the floorboard. I'd say 10/10 textbook approach and spot landing.
Beautiful landing.
Very Nice landing, congratulation from Brazil!!

Nice landing! :)
Great video!! What is the type of base you are using in the front GoPro? And the one on the top? Thanks
Great landing
Nice video. The ground looked quite soft. The grass was fairly tall?
Well done! :)
Sweet!!
Nice video. They had you way around on North 40.
everyone with "self loading baggage" is heavy! But I imagine RIPPPON/FISK is daunting for most pilots. Love to try it!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was great!

Do you know how many pilots touched "wheels down", at the same time?
good grief! what a taxi
This is one of the best videos of Oshkosh 2017 FISK arrivals. But Ripon takes only one p :-)
ATC's a rockstar.
Hello on your wheel pants!
Good rock!
Ha, You better give them Good Rock...... Oh, he Will... ✈️🛫🛩👨✈️
SKILL!!
Taxi for days!

Only one P in Ripon, never mind how its pronounced ;)

If that's the case, he's got my vote.
You must be a Fox News viewer. You have to make everything about politics
Nice job on the landing. The interior camera seemed a bit soft/hazy for some reason. Is dad a pilot as well - he made a good co-pilot in any case.
