    Thanks for this, having trouble dealing with chronic pain, triggering health anxiety for every single ache or pain. Learning to refocus is hard

    That sounds veeery similar to Gene Gendlin’s method of "Focusing". Are you familiar with it?

      Yes! Richard Schwartz, the IFS guy, references Focusing from time to time.
      Focusing had a huge impact on the therapy world, a lot of modalities draw from it.
      Also I trained in Gestalt therapy which also informed IFS, it was maybe the first modality to start doing parts work.
